Dear Valued Supporters,

Misfit Paws Rescue is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all animals in our care. To maintain the highest standards of well-being, we are currently facing an urgent need for the following essential supplies:

* **Dry Dog Food:** We are seeking a substantial donation of high-quality dry dog food, specifically requesting approximately two pallets of the 'Chewy' brand, known for its nutritional value for our canine residents.
* **Wet Cat Food:** Our feline friends would greatly benefit from donations of 'Friskies' brand canned cat food, which helps ensure they receive varied and palatable meals.
* **Dry Cat Food:** General dry cat kibble is also consistently needed to supplement the diets of our diverse cat population.
* **Pet Training Pads:** Absorbent training pads are vital for maintaining hygiene and assisting with the house-training of our younger or convalescing animals.

Your generosity makes a tangible difference in the lives of these animals, providing them with comfort, sustenance, and the care they deserve while awaiting their forever homes. If you are able to contribute so that we are able to pick these items up Sunday at United Pet Fund, it would be amazing!!’

We need to raise $400 to be able to get the food and a couple of needed crates if possible.

💔💔UPDATE💔💔
It is with heavy hearts to say, that we had to help Fred cross the Rainbow Bridge.

He was tested for FIV FeLV as usual, and he was positive for FIV (feline Aides virus)

As FIV is not automatically a death sentence, he was already in (full blown) symptoms. mouth was full of ulcers, tongue was covered in ulcers.upper respiratory infection. not grooming as he had dry p**p on his back end, and dulling of the coat.
also, all of his remaining teeth would have had to been removed due to infection .

Once to this point, he would continue to have had health issues

This is something we NEVER take lightly nor ever want the outcome to be, but after speaking to our vet, it was decided best to euthanize as he was going to get worse.

Welcome Fred. He has come to us with a nasty open wound on his testicles that is full of puss and draining.

Sadly, Fred did not have a home
and was part of a feral community, we can’t disclose location for the safety of the colony cats. (sadly some people have ill intent )

We need to get him to Wheelersburg Animal Hospital for treatment. he will need tested for FIV and FeLV, treatment, neutered, meds.

Check out Pop Tart. He had his eye enucleation last Tuesday and is doing AMAZING.

He is just about the cutest thing with the personality as well.

We want to thank everyone that has donated to his bill, we wouldn’t be able to continue to do this without the help of the community.

We do still have a large balance of almost 3000, after we get the FB pay in from Pop Tart and pay that on the bill.
