🌈 UPDATE: We are saddened to say, the little one did not make it. He could not overcome his injuries from the larger dog. Run free little one. We appreciate everyone that has donated to his emergency care, we appreciate you all so much ❤️🌈

6 week old pup in route to ER in Kenova. He was Injured by larger dog in the household. He is having a great deal of trouble breathing.
We need help with medical expenses for this sweet baby, the owner has surrendered the puppy to us to get him the care he needs.

Folks we come to you again for help for some much needed supplies.

We are completely out of dog and cat vaccines. Every animal that we take in gets vaccinated on intake. So we go thru quite a few

We also need Pee Pee Pads, we have a few seniors and we also use them for the cats as well. We have been going thru a lot of them lately.

We need to order at least two trays of dog and two trays of cat vaccines. I will update the chewy and Amazon wish list and add pee pads. We are not choosey on pads and appreciate any that you may send

Our little New Years Eve kitten was released and is doing AMAZING ! And she does have a VOICE and she uses it.
You do not let the food dish get empty, she will notify you 🤣

She was at the clinic for several days receiving IV fluids, antibiotics and nebulizer treatments.

I am a firm believer of when it rains, it pours. Yesterday we took these three cats in as well as they were all sick and needed medical attention.

The black and white one (Oreo) we were told he had been having seizures over several days, so we don’t know how many he actually had, but he was unable to walk. By this time he had neurological damage. He also tested positive for FeLV/ FIV
The buff cat, with a huge abscess/tumor in the jaw, had gotten quite large.
The orange /white cat (Long Legs) he was very ill with upper respiratory, he was so very sick, he was FeLV/ FIV positive, symptomatic, his poor body was just worn out.
The buff cat (Dragon) he had a huge tumor/ abscess in his jaw. He would have to have this removed, and aftercare was going to basically near impossible due to him being feral. There would be no way to treat him daily, and he was also FeLV FIV positive.

As you all know we have saved many FeLV /FIV cats, so please do not think these cats being FeLV or FIV positive was what made our decision on each cat, we had to look hard at quality of life on each individual cat. After speaking to the Veterinary staff and tests being done, sadly euthanasia was what was kindest for them. There is no cure for FeLV or FIV but the other things that was wrong with each cat was more damaging.

This is NEVER, EVER something we take lightly. And it is never what we want. It’s heartbreaking to say the least and it weighs heavy on us. We can only pray everyone understands and we know they are no longer in pain or sickness.
We do still need help with their bill, office visit, testing and cremations if anyone would like to donate it would be appreciated.

Today we were asked to take this poor baby that was thrown out of a car and left to fend for herself. Thankfully a kind gentleman picked her up and took her to our vet whom reached out to us, and we of course said we would take her.
She is very sick, but she did test negative for FeLV and FIV. She has been started on IV fluids and antibiotics. She will remain hospitalized for a few days and see how she feels.
We once again need your help to care for this little cutie. We couldn’t say no to that little face. Please help if you can

We come to you once again in need of help. On the morning of Christmas Eve, we took in this sweet kitty named Church that had been hit by a car.
He sadly escaped the safety of his loving home by accident and was tragically hit by a car.
We all know times are tough, with the holidays, and with bills and life in general. A friend of the family reached out to us and asked if we could help. We could not let him go and not have the medical attention he needed right away, so we had the family take him to Wheelersburg Animal Hospital for evaluation. Sadly, his pelvis was crushed and he had no use of his back legs at all. He was unable to
use the bathroom on his own as well. The decision after speaking to the vet and family about any possible options was to let him go peacefully.
We still need help to cover his bill. His total was $243 If you could see it to donate $1,$5, $10 any amount helps. We just want to get the balance paid by the end of year if at all possible. Thanks everyone

⚠️⚠️⚠️KITTIES IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP⚠️⚠️⚠️

Friends, on Christmas Eve we were actually quite busy trying to help some cats in an absolutely desperate situation.

These cats were left to fend for themselves after the owner died, no food, no water, no medical care. Nothing. Scared, alone and starving. Illness quickly has overcome them. We have 3 of them so far, going back tomorrow after more. There is at least 6 more we know of.

We were asked to take this sweet older lady today, the owner was no longer able to care for her due to her own illness and had taken her to the office to be euthanized due to her skin condition.
We have taken 3 others from the same home in his week as well.

This girl is a senior. She has terrible itchy skin due to fleas. She also has a grade 3 heart murmur. She will need to be on some special meds, one will be $159. We don’t have a total on the other stuff as of yet.

Please consider donating to help this sweetie. We still have a $2000 bill at the vet. She really did enjoy her bath and snuggle time.

Hocus and Mystery would like to drop in and give an update of how well they are adjusting to each of them loosing a leg.

For anyone that does not know their stories, a few weeks back, each of them were found with a limb ripped from their bodies. They both had surgery and are doing amazing.

Now, to make these happy tails happen, we have to ask for donations to pay the bill at WAH. And right now we are still at $2300 and that’s including some of others we had to take in and some hospitalizations. We have got to get this paid to be able to help others l, if you can help, we greatly appreciate it, at least please share.
