Hey everyone!! We have several upcoming surgeries all about the same time and we are gonna need your help.

9/25 Kay , the kitten with the compound leg fracture is finally big enough and well enough to withstand surgery and will have his leg amputated this date.

9/30. Frankie The kitten with the ruptured eyeball will have his enucleation done.

9/30. Samsung, the cat with the horrid back leg with bones sticking out everywhere has been finally getting the infection under control and will have is leg amputation this day

10/20 HoneyBelle, the labby that we took in last month, she will need spayed still. We were going to last week but her 4dx panel came back positive for E Canis. So she will receive treatment for a month before that surgery can take place

We are looking at close to $2000 in surgeries here roughly. And in a very short amount of time. Please help and share if you can please

HAWK (AKA Tony) has finally been released from the hospital. His WBC is still elevated, but it is going down. He’s showing much improvement and has to go back in one week for repeat labs.

He’s eating like a piggie and has his castings off as well. He’s doing great right now. He still has an issue with the possibility of a partial tail amputation, but we have to see how the tail progresses. The tip appears dead, but we are watching it close.

He was hospitalized for a week, and still has to go back. We really need help with his bill, please consider donating got his bill . We have been hit with quite a few medical cases back to back recently and we appreciate everyone who has donated.

We don’t have his total bill yet but we are looking at several hundreds due to the hospitalization, IVs, meds, labs, etc:

Sarge came to us as a stray, we tried to find owners and with the county pound at capacity, we have had him in foster care for about 3 weeks.

For some reason, he had become unable to walk, he had a little hitch in his giddyup, but he is an older gentleman, so not much concern, until this weekend when he became unable to eat and walk would you cs. So, yesterday he was taken Wheelersburg Animal Hospital where he was evaluated and had X-rays. He has a disk that is pressing against the others and he has Lyme disease.

He is on meds for both and also received a steroid shot to help with the his mobility. He on daily meds for both and we hope he continues to improve.

His bill was $360 and we really need help with his bill .

SamSung was seen early last week injured and in need of help. Sadly it took until Saturday to secure him and get him to Wheelersburg.

His foot is destroyed, what you see are bone fragments and his leg will have to be amputated.

He is a very sweet cat and he likes making biscuits. We come to you again for help with yet another surgery. Please consider donating and please share

Yesterday, Hawk had to be readmitted to Wheelersburg Animal Hospital.

He needed his castings changed, but he has been losing weight, becoming dehydrated, despite eating and drinking.

Blood work confirmed his levels are off and possibly infection in his system from an open wound. Or something in his system. He is on meds and IVs, we are hopeful he will be ok.

We were not expecting this at all and need your help to cover his extra medical costs. We appreciate everyone for your help.

Not sure whether to be more angry or sad.

Today, this innocent kitten was no way treated the way an animal should. And if the parents of the kids that done it cannot teach them any better or keep them under control, more will suffer.

They were taking this poor kitten and tossing it back and forth over the fence, and into it.

On top of this, the kitten was very sick. Can you imagine being sick and being used like a volly ball.

Thank you to Hope for rushing the kitty to the vet. The vet did say it would be best to euthanize and end her pain. There was underlying issues they believe contributing to her illness, since she was very sickly as well.

Sweet Marbles was part of a community of cats that has been being taken care of by some wonderful people.

Marbles showed up limping and noticeable swelling in the leg. They reached out for help to get him to a vet, and was able to transport him to Wheelersburg Animal Hospital for us.

X-rays show the leg is broke. It has started to heal. So, it would have to be re-broke and try to repair it or amputation. With the area of the break, the Dr says amputation is best and we agree.

He will adjust well, and will go to an inside home.

We cannot disclose publicly the location of the community of cats due to their safety (there are people out there with ill intent) sadly. But, if interested in adopting one, or helping to spay / neuter any, there are almost 30. Please message us.

Back to Marbles, he will have surgery in the next week or 2 just need to get on the schedule. His bill will be around $900, this includes , FIV FeLV testing , X-rays, surgery, meds , neuter, got to get the family jewels gone , and anything else he may need.

Again, I know we ask a lot and it seems like every day. I think we have had more cats with broken legs this year than we ever have. Please donate If you can, also share please

Here is our update on out two little surgery patients, Gussie and Tony “HAWK”

Gussie had back leg amputation and came thru surgery amazingly well. She is our little kitty that was hit by a car.

Then there is Hawk, Dr Tim was able to repair the back leg, saving it from amputation. He is on crate rest for quite some time, due to all the fractures and will need several bandage changes.
No more getting packed off by big birds for this kitty !!

So these two are on the right track to recovery and we are so happy about it .

Ok folks, we are going to try something. It’s been a while since we done an adoption event local and we usually don’t do adoptions, as we do the vetting and send them to our partner rescues.

Well, reality is, everyone is FULL, so we are going to offer these babies for adoption.

Our next update is HAWK aka Tony. Both he and Gussie are both at the hospital tonight. Hawk has been there since the 14th. The plan originally was amputation of the back leg, but Dr Tim was able to repair it. So our very very broken kitty, has two castings, front and back leg. So he’s walking a little wonky. When he walks, he still has pelvic fracture, but with crate rest and meds will heal.

He is a resilient little kitty that is for sure. Just wish that Hawk had dropped him closer to the ground. Cause he sure took a heck of a fall.

Again, with this fellow, we have a bill on him as well, he’s been hospitalized for several days, bandage changes, anesthesia, meds. We will have his total tomorrow, his will more than likely be around $600.
