Not sure whether to be more angry or sad.

Today, this innocent kitten was no way treated the way an animal should. And if the parents of the kids that done it cannot teach them any better or keep them under control, more will suffer.

They were taking this poor kitten and tossing it back and forth over the fence, and into it.

On top of this, the kitten was very sick. Can you imagine being sick and being used like a volly ball.

Thank you to Hope for rushing the kitty to the vet. The vet did say it would be best to euthanize and end her pain. There was underlying issues they believe contributing to her illness, since she was very sickly as well.

Sweet Marbles was part of a community of cats that has been being taken care of by some wonderful people.

Marbles showed up limping and noticeable swelling in the leg. They reached out for help to get him to a vet, and was able to transport him to Wheelersburg Animal Hospital for us.

X-rays show the leg is broke. It has started to heal. So, it would have to be re-broke and try to repair it or amputation. With the area of the break, the Dr says amputation is best and we agree.

He will adjust well, and will go to an inside home.

We cannot disclose publicly the location of the community of cats due to their safety (there are people out there with ill intent) sadly. But, if interested in adopting one, or helping to spay / neuter any, there are almost 30. Please message us.

Back to Marbles, he will have surgery in the next week or 2 just need to get on the schedule. His bill will be around $900, this includes , FIV FeLV testing , X-rays, surgery, meds , neuter, got to get the family jewels gone , and anything else he may need.

Again, I know we ask a lot and it seems like every day. I think we have had more cats with broken legs this year than we ever have. Please donate If you can, also share please

Here is our update on out two little surgery patients, Gussie and Tony “HAWK”

Gussie had back leg amputation and came thru surgery amazingly well. She is our little kitty that was hit by a car.

Then there is Hawk, Dr Tim was able to repair the back leg, saving it from amputation. He is on crate rest for quite some time, due to all the fractures and will need several bandage changes.
No more getting packed off by big birds for this kitty !!

So these two are on the right track to recovery and we are so happy about it .

💗💗KITTIES FOR ADOPTION💗💗

Ok folks, we are going to try something. It’s been a while since we done an adoption event local and we usually don’t do adoptions, as we do the vetting and send them to our partner rescues.

Well, reality is, everyone is FULL, so we are going to offer these babies for adoption.

Mom is about 2 years old

You will be required to list your vet.

These are only being adopted as indoor family members

Our next update is HAWK aka Tony. Both he and Gussie are both at the hospital tonight. Hawk has been there since the 14th. The plan originally was amputation of the back leg, but Dr Tim was able to repair it. So our very very broken kitty, has two castings, front and back leg. So he’s walking a little wonky. When he walks, he still has pelvic fracture, but with crate rest and meds will heal.

He is a resilient little kitty that is for sure. Just wish that Hawk had dropped him closer to the ground. Cause he sure took a heck of a fall.

Again, with this fellow, we have a bill on him as well, he’s been hospitalized for several days, bandage changes, anesthesia, meds. We will have his total tomorrow, his will more than likely be around $600.

Our sweet Gussie, the kitty that fell out from under a car and ran into oncoming traffic and got hit had her amputation today of her back leg.

They report she is doing well and can be released tomorrow. We desperately need help with our medical bills as we have had so many with medical needs that our bill has become pretty high.

We don’t have a total yet on Gussie, but amputation usually runs about $800 total.

We have other updates as well, so watch for those as well

HAPPY TAILS!! This makes our hearts SOO HAPPY!! YAY FOR MJ!!

Some happy news for your Monday, Mj adopted! It actually happened a few weeks ago, I'm just now getting around to posting, lol. He is very loved and settled in nicely. He's helping to heal some hearts after the loss of their senior dog. Happy new beginnings sweet pup! ❤️

Thank you to Misfits Paws for saving his life! They took him in and covered his parvo treatment and vetting, he received the one on one he needed in foster to help him gain confidence and realize not everything is scary. We simply helped find him a home.

Thank you to his new family for choosing adoption!

Today our sweet little very broken kitty, that was attacked and packed off and dropped by a hawk, is having surgery today.

Surgery is including amputation of the back left leg and possibly a portion of the tail.

He still has much healing to do. The pelvis is still fractured. The front leg will remain splinted.

We will need help with his surgery and hospital stay. I know we have asked a lot lately, and we have another kitty coming up for leg amputation on the 19th, the one hit by the car. Our bill is gonna jump a lot and quick. Please donate if you can, and / or please share. We appreciate everyone.

Our kitties are completely out of kitten food. We are out of all types. Adult dry, dry kitten, canned kitten, adult canned. We have seriously ran out of everything.

With our rescue partners not pulling any animals at the present time, this is putting us in quite a jam with having so many in our care for this long. Plus our medical cases had far exceeded our normal for this time of year it seems.

As all rescue overflowing right now, we have absolutely no rescue partners pulling our “well” animals.

We have many animals in our care, many we have had for months and months. These animals as well have to have medical treatment such as vaccines, spay/neuters.

A couple weeks ago we had to have these two girls spayed and we did so at Limestone Creek Animal Clinic in Flatwoods.

The total bill for the two girls was $252.70 and we need to pay this asap. We are a new rescue to this vet and cannot run a bill, so we hope we can get these ladies sponsored quickly. As we did have 3 others vetted there as well for surgeries.

⚠️😢KITTY NEEDED SURGERY😢⚠️

Yesterday we were contacted by our local animal shelter about this poor sweet kitten with a re**al prolapse and ask if we could take the little one .

She was taken to Wheelersburg Animal Hospital this morning and they done surgery one her. She will remain there overnight and if all goes well she will be released tomorrow.

We once again come to you for help with her bill. I really think it’s been an every day medical emergency for the last two weeks it seems, so many in need, so many suffering.
