Furry friends for life We are a family living in country NSW who adore animals and are committed to breeding and raising beautiful, healthy and well socialised family pets
(33)

We are registered breeders with FFFCDB. This means a vet visits our home at least once a year and checks everything concerning the care and well being of our pets. We breed quality cavoodles for health, temperament and appearance. We strive to breed the best natured, happy and well socialised pets we can. Our dogs are part of our family in all aspects. They share our home and our beds, and love

to be involved in all we do. They love ball games, and walks as well as swims in the nearby river and dams. Our girls only have a littler once every 12 to 18 months as they are first and foremost our family pets and their health and wellbeing is our highest priority. We chose to become registered with FFFCBD as they are the only organisation that promotes ethical, responsible breeding to an exceptionally high standard and is vet audited yearly to make sure all members uphold all those standards. I am a stay at home mum so our dogs are attended to and cared for constantly, providing the best care we can to ensure our puppies are happy, healthy and confident when they leave our care. Our pups are ready to embark on the next part of their journey when they leave us at 8 weeks. The come vaccinated with c3, micro-chipped, vet checked, wormed fortnightly and loved to bits. They come with 6 weeks pet insurance with petplan for your peace of mind. They also come to you with their special blanket which has our familiar scent on it to help them settle into their new home. Our puppies ave flown all over Australia, and we prepare them for flights by ensuring the crate is familiar to them and their special blanket and treats are in there for them. If you feel like a cavoodle is the right dog to join your family please contact us, and we will be happy to help you. We do have a waiting list

ARE YOU WORTH COMING BACK TO?

There are many reasons why dogs don’t come back when you want them to. A dog’s genetics play a big role in this when an environment is far more stimulating and exciting and listening and coming back to you disappear into the background as genetic instinct takes over.

An exciting scent or seeing something to chase can all override a response to you.

Genetics aside, a common reason why dogs don’t come back when called is because it’s not a positive experience for them.

I often cringe when I watch owners trying to get their dogs to come to them when they call.
They call and call and get increasingly angry and frustrated as their dog keeps ignoring them.

When their dog eventually does come back, or has been chased and "captured” by their owner, they get screamed at, yanked about, smacked or punished in some way for taking so long and not listening. Why would a dog want to return to someone who does this to them!

Make coming back to you worth it by always making it a rewarding experience.

Have a little patience if it takes longer than you would like, let your dog finish what they’re doing before calling them, practice in different locations and environments and never reprimand or punish them for coming back.

There is never a guarantee of a perfect recall each and every time, but making it rewarding will greatly improve the rate of success.

Removing a puppy from it's Mum and littermates too young can lead to serious temperament and communication issues that can be extremely difficult for the average pet owner to overcome.

So how young is too young? Research shows that pups removed at 6 weeks of age are at a much higher risk than pups 8 weeks of age of developing behavioral problems. Just an additional 2 weeks can make a drastic difference. This is a crucial time for brain development and puppies learn communication, social skills, impulse control, and so much more from both mom and their siblings.

It has generally been accepted by pet owners that puppies can leave for a new home at 6 weeks of age. There are also many backyard breeders and puppy mills willing to let this happen. But a reputable breeder understands the skills needed to be a well balanced, well rounded, healthy and happy canine means keeping pups with mom and siblings until at least 8 weeks of age.

We do have a waiting list Please note we do not allow visitors to view our puppies until after their first vaccination. Sorry if this is inconvenient but the health of our babies is of paramount importance. Their little immune systems are very immature at such a young age. You can be assured they are raised in a loving, doting home, as far removed from a puppy farm as you can get.
