Dates to be aware of: June 21st the SNAP bus along with Coronado CARES will provide free spay/neuter clinic for residents of Coronado and Imperial Beach.
June 22nd - SNAP along with Coronado CARES and Dogs on Deployment will focus on military members in Coronado and Imperial Beach E-1 to E-4 will sponsor a spay/neuter and other services.

It’s me, Benny. These are my friends Archer and Duke and my sister Ella. I’m the littlest one. We are all vaccinated and microchipped. I am the only one not spay/neutered due to my age but my dog parents have that appointment on their calendar. Every dog deserves to be safe and healthy. The programs sponsored by Coronado CARES helps to pays for spay/neuter events through SNAP and microchipping with our friends at the San Diego Humane Society.

Happy New Year! Coronado CARES is preparing for our Spring fundraising event for 2024. We use funds raised to finance microchipping and spay/neuter events in the South Bay. We partner with the San Diego Humane Society, IB Pet (shop local!) and the Neuter Scooter. We are so grateful for all the support in 2023 and look forward to increasing the number of clinics in 2024.

Coronado residents can get rid of old, personal documents at the City's FREE Shred Event from 8 am to 1 pm at City Hall on Sat, Oct 21. Bring up to two boxes (10"x12"x15") to be shredded on site. Drop off unwanted electronics too, including TVs, computers, and cell phones.
