Crumb gets some training and I've turned it into an instructional video. I'm not a pro handler, and there may be better ways of training, but this is what works for me. More videos to come including grooming tools and show grooming tips. The videos have been done for a while, but are still living in my phone until I have the time to put them together. 😆

Watch for upcoming videos! Crumb is five months old and has had very little training. This should be interesting!

Why we recommend not spaying or neutering before a year old, preferably 18 mos or older. Though this lists frmale Bostons as "ok" to spay at six mos and later (males 12+ mos), the research in this article should be compelling enough to cause owners to wait. Certain cancers are at higher risk, joint problems are more prevalent. Their hormones are needed for closing growth plates among other things. Original article below, link to attached chart below.

Announcing our newest little beastie! On my last trip to Poland I went to transport her sister. After a long conversation with the breeder, we decided Chiara needed to stow away in the carrier and come to the United States also. Her pedigree is very near and dear to my heart as her dam is half sister to our late India. She has been our best kept secret while the contract details were worked out.

She is bred and owned in partnership with Unique Canine FCI Kennel in Warsaw Poland. We appreciate the trust with this little doll! We look forward to seeing what the future holds.

I apologize for the inactivity of this page. Rio has since earned her CH title and has had puppies who are already in the show ring. I dropped the ball on this page. I will be starting a new boy in training and will be adding videos and tips as he gets ready for his show career. Here are Rio's win photos. She is retiring to the home of a dear friend in the next few weeks and has four show prospects that you may be seeing in the show ring in the future.

Rio ventured into the biggest Boston Terrier show there is last week at the BTCA National in Atlanta Georgia last week. She brought home a third, but did a great job showing off for the judge. More photos to come.

It's been a long time since you've been updated on Rio. She showed with my wonderful friend Kathryn Smith in Montana at her last show... Pre-covid.... and she won a 5 Point Major towards her Champion title! (Photo of Kathryn and Rio below at the Montana shows 2019)

Rio then sat on the sidelines for a bit while a couple of older girls showed to finish their titles. Covid then of course put a damper in her plans for this year... Until now.

Watch for an update soon.... Rio is back in the ring!

Our apologies for the few and far between updates. Rio had a break from showing this summer and then had her first show in August. She placed first in her class each day and handled beautifully for her owner and for Kayla Emmett who offered a helping hand. Then she showed in Montana.... Photos and updates to follow!
