It is with great sadness, our founder and collar model, Rusty Cannon passed over the rainbow bridge yesterday. Rusty acquired Addison’s Disease at age 3 and over came many obstacles, he passed peacefully yesterday with his momma and daddy holding him tight, he was almost 13 years old. 💔 We rescued Rusty at 6 months of age and he was a master escape artist! He was the inspiration for this company and although this method of confinement is often viewed as “cruel”, it is not. With “proper” training, tone sounds and slight vibration is all that is required to keep your pet safe! After a year or two after starting this company 10 years ago, we were able afford a physical fence for Rusty, which allowed him over an acre of freedom. We did however continue to use the portable pet safe fence when we went camping. We will miss him dearly and we so appreciate all our CollarSafe customers!
