Chico is a 4 year old chihuahua who is sweet, chill and not yippee. Chico loves people, loves dogs and ignores cats. Chico loves to play fetch and burrow under the covers.

Tuk is a well-mannered 4 year old chihuahua mix with the best underbite around. He loves to sit on your lap and snuggle. He gets along great with other dogs and did great meeting a human baby👶🏼 Tuk is crate trained too.

Our Story

Liz opened her Madison pet store, Nutzy Mutz & Crazy Catz in 2006, but if you ask her, she’ll tell you she was always going to work for the animals, one way or another.

Even as a child, not yet in control of her own pocketbook, Liz would stubbornly insist that her parents buy her the special needs stuffed animal, the one with only one eye or a missing limb.

Nutzy Mutz & Crazy Catz has a lot to offer for your dog, cat and, yes, even your chicken! We’ve got your locally milled bag o’ chicken scratch, your sweet-smelling kitty litter, and a fresh bone for your best friend.

Our specialty is natural and, wherever we can, eco-friendly pet products ― including food, toys, training aids, supplements and grooming supplies.
