If you like your marshmallows barely toasted, then Tiana is the cream-colored soft sweetie for you. Her life-long family got new two puppies, so she is available to join your family for her retirement as your snuggle buddy. This 20lb senior terrier mix LOVES people and has full-body wags to show her happiness. She is potty trained and barely sheds, gets along great with cats and other dogs, enjoys car rides and leash walks, but mostly wants to relax and hang out with her people.

Not all dogs want to romp outside in the cold & snow, to combat boredom when you’re stuck in the house give a Busy Buddy a try! These toys are great because they come in different shapes and sizes. They all use the same rawhide rings to fit onto the toy. You can also up the challenge and longevity of play by smearing nut butter, yogurt or pumpkin on the treat then freezing. Beatrix featured here only has a few teef in her whole senior mouth but still loves the toy and can successfully chew the treat off. My house has had this toy for years now so they really last a long time.

Getting closer to having our new store on Park Street open! The address is 1709 S. Park St. We’re right on the Wingra bike trail. We’ll be open some time next month. Stay tuned.

Liz opened her Madison pet store, Nutzy Mutz & Crazy Catz in 2006, but if you ask her, she’ll tell you she was always going to work for the animals, one way or another.
Even as a child, not yet in control of her own pocketbook, Liz would stubbornly insist that her parents buy her the special needs stuffed animal, the one with only one eye or a missing limb.
Nutzy Mutz & Crazy Catz has a lot to offer for your dog, cat and, yes, even your chicken! We’ve got your locally milled bag o’ chicken scratch, your sweet-smelling kitty litter, and a fresh bone for your best friend.
Our specialty is natural and, wherever we can, eco-friendly pet products ― including food, toys, training aids, supplements and grooming supplies.
It can be very frustrating to own a pet with special needs be it health issues such as allergies and anxiety, or behavioral. At Nutzy Mutz & Crazy Catz, we pride ourselves on taking the time to listen and help find a solution. Our in-between moments are spent reading what the holistic practitioners, vet schools, and dog behaviorists have to say. We stay on top of the latest information and keep you in-the-know.
