🐕Can you see what’s happening under this pups outter coat? Matting forms beneath the outside guard hairs and tangles in the undercoat! It’s easily missed to most pet owners but can cause huge problems if unaddressed!
When you’re brushing at home, be sure your brush is reaching all the way through the dense coat! Ensure you can see the skin when you are brushing to make sure you catch matting before it causes headache!
Using your hand, pet their fur Backwards; against the natural lay of the coat. This will reveal the skin! Then, using your tool, brush With the lay of the coat brushing small amounts out from under your hand as you move up the animal. If you catch a snag, stop and comb it out before moving on.🙂
Always ask for help before you get yourself in too deep!
Wet weather is coming! Make sure to get that undercoat out before it gets wet💙

Hi guys! I miss youuu!!💖🐾
I think about your pets often, and catch myself retelling fun stories of bowsers!
✨I thought I’d share a small update✨
Vancouver Island is where I’ve landed and the mobile grooming truck I’ve opened is working harder then you can imagine! It’s a lot of fun and challenging! The clients here seem to appreciate the mobile asset to the area!🤗
I see pictures of your pups go by on other groomers pages and just love knowing they’re in good hands!
🏅Recently, I attended grooming comp in Vancouver. This year I came home with two certifications which was the goal! I was quite impressed with the pups I chose, they were just so good and ultimately the reason we did so well!
My family is still sifting through the rubble of estate paperwork, and we still need each other; I’m grateful to be here for us🌸
⭐️I’ve made so many new groomer friends, and reconnected with high school pals from sooo long ago! It’s wild to see who has turned into what! I’m so impressed by them all and the groomers out here are top knotch⭐️
🚐 Here’s just a few pictures of how I’m doing on the west coast! The grooming truck is bigger then the salons were! And has state of the art equipment inside, for any situation! The truck also attends and sponsors events on the island where it plays external music and has underglow lighting to rock the evenings!
Thanks ya’ll for the trust & support you gave me for so long! I will see you again one day🐾🛁

This is a great post about options when it comes to treating and preventing bugs on pets! As us about a preventative flea bath treatment🛁

🪳Ticks, Lice & Fleas!🪳
It’s bugs season folks! Bugs are pretty common, so being prepared is important! Pet owners have a few defensive options to consider.
My personal favourite is the vet prescribed pill option. It’s an easy “treat” tasting pill for dogs that helps prevent for a whole body defence from the inside out!
The drops are still an option; and can be a good one for cats! Drops are dabbed topically down the back spine of the pet!
🛁As your groomer, we can help pets with a bug bath! Bug preventative shampoo can be applied to pets coat to create an all over protection that lasts up to 30 days!🫧
In all instances; the bugs must bite your pets skin to ingest the defensive bug prevention to effectively work. The idea is that the protection won’t allow bugs to thrive on your pets (because to thrive they’d need to feed (pictured)), but will not stop them from hitchhiking a ride to another more vulnerable pet.. So ensuring all the pets in your household are protected, is important for true bug protection! Also, it is not a “one-time-treatment”. To truly protect against bugs, it is a year round continual prevention!
