We LOVE adoptions and are so excited to see these pups get the life they deserve. So we wanted to take a moment to go through some of the important information about our rescue and what you can expect during the adoption process.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with no facilities. Each one of our dogs is in a foster home with our amazing volunteers getting the care and love they deserve. Don’t live in Oklahoma? That’s okay, we do out of state adoptions.

Our adoption fees vary depending on the age and health of the dog. While our fees may differ from other rescues and shelters, proper medical care for a bulldog -which most of the dogs in our care have never received- is expensive. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, including heartworm prevention and receive any other treatments/surgery necessary prior to adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, we recommend applying now. We do not take applications for specific dogs so you are applying to be approved for adoption. Your application is not binding—it is just the first step. Once you are approved, our adoption coordinators will talk 1:1 about the pups that will fit your family.

Lastly, everyone at TABR is a volunteer, so we're all doing this in our “spare” time. We do our best to respond to every question and process applications quickly, but life has a way of slowing us down so we appreciate your patience.

Seeking a total charmer? Say hello to Jaq! Fun and playful go hand in hand with this boy. Jaq has mastered most skills, except for the pesky leash thing. Each of our dogs comes with a unique story but they are all looking for one thing – a loving home, where they can thrive. Betty and Humphrey, an inseparable senior bonded pair, were searching for their second chance. After months of waiting, their chance finally came, but unfortunately, it didn't end as we had hoped. They were returned shortly after adoption due to no fault of their own. Months later, a woman from Nashville contacted us about Betty and Humphrey, and we knew in our hearts that this was their moment. Betty and Humphrey had finally found their forever home.

These pups waited for months in rescue for the right home. It’s so hard to find people open to adopting seniors, let alone multiples. This particular adopter flew to Oklahoma City, and adopted these sweet dogs so they could stay together. And not only did she do that, she gave us a significant donation on top of it! We put our heart and soul into running this rescue as volunteers, and people like this are so hard to come by and we truly have no words for how amazing they are. They keep us going!

Jasmine is a six-year-old firecracker of energy and personality. She's obsessed with toys and will keep herself entertained for hours, and her goofy antics are guaranteed to crack you up. She's a tad bossy with other dogs, but she's not aggressive - she's just a diva who likes to run the show. If you're looking for a bulldog with personality and a big heart, Jasmine could be your perfect Valentine.
