We are a young couple, who in recent years, have discovered a passion for photography....
It all started back in 2006 when Andrew won a radio contest. We, however, were not. Instead, Andrew was able to convince the guys at 100.7 FOX, to just give him cash. Andrew quickly invested the $400 in our first Advanced Point and Shoot. A Canon Power Shot S2 IS. (You can get this camera for a whopping $70
now) His main goal, was to learn the camera well enough to be able to accurately represent the geckos that we were selling. He did just that. He learned the in's and out's of the manual functions on the camera....Before he new it he was having multiple photos published in a gecko book! As Andrew continued on the never-ending learning curve, which is photography, there was a moment where I decided to jump on the curve with him. Ever since that point, we have been on this journey together. A journey which has led us to different places all around the world. Traveling, and capturing Mother Nature at her finest. This is where our true passion lies. We have since upgraded our gear from that original S2 IS, to two dSLR's with a variety of lenses and other specialized equipment. Like I said, though. The best thing about photography, is that there is a learning curve, that is truly never-ending. Andrew and I are completely self-taught, we are constantly trying new things, constantly encouraging one another, and have more recently pushed ourselves further beyond our 'freelance' photography. And more into the world of portrait work....(Weddings, Engagements, Senior, Maternity, Newborn/Baby, Pets...etc). There is a saying out there: "Find a job you love, and you'll never have to work a day in your life." That job/hobby for us is our photography. With it, we are able to showcase our many other passions in life. Sincerely,
Sarah and Andrew
