The Crazy Dog Mom is a healthy lifestyle boutique for pups and their people. We're most known for our funny t-shirts for dog lovers and our in-house-made, single-ingredient dog treats but we also sell dog toys, things for the home, and accessories like dog bandanas with matching srcunhies so you can match your dog. It's not just another pet store I like to call it a dog boutique. All of the produc

ts available have a focus on clean and natural ingredients while also creating a sense of belonging to a community of others who look at themselves as crazy dog moms or dads or even crazy dog lovers. I started this as an online shop and grew it by starting Wisconsin’s first dog treat truck in 2021 to opening a storefront in 2022.

My name is Amanda and I am the owner of The Crazy Dog Mom. You may have noticed the logo is a husky, that husky is Kiara. She is the one who made me a crazy dog mom and inspired me to start this business. No amount of words can describe what she means to me, but she is now gone, waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. When she passed I thought about closing this shop, thinking "what's the point, everything was for her?" But then I realized I need to continue doing what I do best, be a dog mom. You see, some girls were born to be doctors, dancers, or stay at home mothers. But I was born to be a crazy dog mom. Now I have two baby boys, Koa and Ryuk. But Kiara is the one who lead me to learning all I could about how to give her the best life. So when she suddenly died at only 9 years old because of her spleen and liver being covered in masses that were bleeding out, it drove me to take a natural approach to life more seriously. Once I got Koa and Ryuk I knew right away I needed to give them everything I could but was struggling to find minimal ingredient treats that actually benefited them. That’s when I started making Excite Bites and turned the focus of the business to more natural products

Did you know you should be keeping your dog’s age in mind during the cold weather?

Just like people, young dogs and older dogs have a hard time regulating their body temperature.

So even if the weather isn’t extreme, it's a good idea to keep puppies and senior dogs' outdoor time short.

Mental enrichment activities are a great way to burn off excess energy during winter months for all dogs.

We were featured in this month’s !

Reading what she wrote made me really proud of this little business of mine and proud of myself for all of the work I’ve done to create such an amazing store that’s become a destination for locals.

Everything is on sale up to 50% off in store and online!

When the storefront closes in February we won’t be restocking majority of the products we currently carry.

Once we are back to online only we will only be carrying our own products.

Store hours are now Wed-Sat 10am - 5pm, Sun 10am - 4pm, and closed Mon-Tue

IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION: people are misunderstanding. The storefront is not a failure. I'm not closing it because of slow business or financial reasons.

I am closing it because it doesn't fit with the lifestyle I want for myself. For example, I LOVE to travel and that's nearly impossible with a physical storefront, at least for the way I want to travel.

Therefore, we are going back to online only. Just like the first 5 years of this business.

The business is NOT closing. The business is still live and well.

I have BIG plans for the business and a physical storefront is not a part of those plans.

Please understand this is a VERY exciting time for us.

We’re moving to online only!

While we have LOVED having the storefront to see everyone and their dogs and creating a space for people to bring their dog to have an adventure or celebrate with us at one of our many events, having a physical storefront just doesn’t fit into the lifestyle we want for ourselves.

The storefront will close in February BUT you can still shop with us online!

Your dog can still get their favorite treats delivered right to your door!

Along with the funny t-shirts for you!

Locals can select free contactless delivery for online orders

The Crazy Dog Mom designs and sells apparel and accessories specifically made for crazy dog moms (and some for dads). When you shop at The Crazy Dog Mom, you help save dogs in need because I donate 10% of the proceeds to animal shelters. Buy a shirt, save a dog!

Not everyone understands the true connection a crazy dog mom can have with her dog. But I do. My Kiara is everything to me. She is my child, my best friend, and my partner in crime. I would, and do, do anything to give her the best life possible.
