Oliver was a 3 week old baby kitty who was found wandering alone, motherless and frightened. We took him in, bottle-fed him, and watched him grow into a very handsome young man. He is not the most cuddly of kitties, but he sure is a character! Sophie was a tiny, malnourished, frightened ball of black fluff of 3 months old when I found her one night while I was out for a walk in o

ur neighborhood. She was so thin that I could feel every single rib and vertebra... I cried when the vet told me she only weighed 1.5lb at 3 months of age. She was very ill with a coccidia infection that took months to fully clear up, but now she is my healthy, happy, loving baby girl. I am so thankful that I went out walking that dark night and heard her tiny pleading meow. Sophie and Oliver live with us humans and their Schnauzer brother, Charlie.

Our Story

*Mamma speaking* Oliver was a 2.5 week old baby kitty who was found wandering alone, motherless and frightened. We took him in, bottle-fed him, and watched him grow into a very handsome little man. He was not the most cuddly of kitties, but he sure was a character! Sophie was a tiny, malnourished, frightened ball of black fluff of 3 months old when I found her one night while I was out for a walk in our neighborhood. Timbit came to us as a seriously ill kitty with an untreated broken leg, in acute kidney failure. He started out as a medical foster, but after many long months of treatment and intensive supportive care, he survived and became a ‘forever’ foster. He will never be ‘normal’, but he is an amazing little guy who we love dearly.

Sadly, Oliver passed away unexpectedly of a mystery illness on April 17, 2019, leaving behind his sister Sophie and his little brother Timbit. Their doggie brother Charlie was taken from us by HCM on January 26, 2018. They are together again.
