Claudia I. Moussoulos The Border Collie is often thought of as a ”workaholic” because of its desire and need for a particular job. Whether it’s herding sheep, fetching the ball, or learning obedience and agility, a Border Collie has a superior intellect and fast learning capabilities. In fact, Border Collies are one of the most intelligent dog breeds. One of their most recognizable features are their intimidating and hypnotic eyes, extremely useful in herding sheep without the need to nip or bark at them. A Border Collie owner must be up to the task and prepared for a top-tier, high stamina and high energy partner in crime. We feel great privilege that we are able to share our love for the Border Collie. Coming recently into breeding, we strive to always evolve as Border Collie breeders, and have great aspirations in positively contributing to this breed we hold so dear to our hearts. We take health, training and loving our dogs to the fullest degree. Our dogs are screened and genetically tested for genetic diseases. We enjoy learning, teaching and exhibiting our dogs at all types of venues, or rather however much we can keep up with. For years the learning has never stopped, and will never stop as our aim is to breed top quality dogs. We are a small kennel of two dogs at the moment (Dante and Dice), and although we have only two border collies at the moment, we make sure that that they each get time for training and exercise. We are very passionate about the breed and helping others understand the breed better. Our litters will be rare, and limited until a new family member joins us. As it is our beginning as breeders we take our research and preparation very seriously. Being as prepared as we can be PRIOR to breeding, we are very strict with producing genetically healthy dogs above all, good temperament and we strive to be as close to what a border collie should be. We select our sires with great care with plenty of research beforehand. We are familiar with ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and Puppy Culture. We are not the type of breeders that will sell you a dog and never keep contact. When getting a dog from us, you will be getting a member of our family, and will hear from us and have our support for any questions you may have and even if you don't end up getting a puppy from us we are always here to help with any questions. Our dogs are active in both work and show. We believe it is important for the breed to have worked at least and herding instinct tested to not loose the meaning behind hat it is to be a border collie. We are preservation breeders. Our dogs are active or have worked with Frisbee, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Conformation and Heelwork. As it is essential to challenge them, being such a versatile breed, they too have preferences to what they want to do, or what suits their character more. www.unleashedborders.com
