🐺 We have some very exciting news this evening! 👏

Our home-bred girl Dogs in Wolfsuits Wren (Alaska x Timber) and our purebred Siberian Husky (beautiful new bloodline for our breeding program) Sadie went to the vets today for their hip and elbow x-rays..

⭐️ Tonight the results are in! ⭐️

Dogs in Wolfsuits Wren -
2:2 hips 0:0 elbows

Sadie -
3:3 hips 0:0 elbows

Both excellent results and approved for breeding in the future 🎉🎉

They are both also DNA Clear for all genetically inheritable diseases testable via Embark Veterinary 🧬

Both girls have so many wonderful traits we are so looking forward to incorporating in our breeding program to produce some amazing future Dogs in Wolfsuits generations down the track 🥰

🐺 Animal welfare is always in the forefront of our minds and taken very seriously here at Dogs in Wolfsuits which is why we joined the AAPDB (Australian Association of Pet Dog Breeding Inc) over a year ago to show our commitment as a professional breeder to deliver the best possible care and abide by the highest standards for our dogs and puppies.

A few weeks ago we had our annual vet audit and have renewed our membership with the AAPDB for another year 🥳

We also had our annual RSPCA breeder compliance audit today and were fully compliant with the code ✅

In NSW the RSPCA conduct audits of breeders to ensure they are compliant with the Department of Primary Industries (NSW Government) Animal Welfare Code of Practice for Breeding Dogs and Cats Under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Regulation 2012.

The AAPDB is the only cross breeding association that is a recognised breeder body approved under clause 3(1) of the Companion Animals Regulation 2008.

The AAPDB is the only breeding association in the world that requires its members to undertake an annual animal focused, quality assurance welfare Audit carried out by an independent practising Veterinarian.

The AAPDB is the only recognised Breeding Association that requires its members to undertake thorough checks, so you have peace of mind that your dog has come from a breeder who is proud of their dogs welfare and open to scrutiny.

AAPDB members fulfil this commitment to their dogs by following standards for breeding and sale to which all members are obligated to adhere. The primary focus of members is to breed healthy, happy family pets and advise prospective owners on what would make the most suitable pets for their circumstances.

We are so proud of our Dogs in Wolfsuits pack (and their pups) and all that we have achieved, strive for and stand for as responsible, ethical, professional, dedicated breeders ⭐️ We have a lot of love here and a lot of fun 😌🥰

Akio is a very happy, confident love bug. Very enthusiastic about life (and food), he has great engagement, he is curious of new things and isn’t phased by anything. Hes a super sweet boy, loves to play and enjoys his cuddles lots!

🐺 Due to a change in circumstance we are accepting expressions of interest and applications for Dogs in Wolfsuits Kamaji (Raven x Otis) 💙 He will be 8 weeks old on Saturday. NSW home preferred!

Kamaji is a very sweet little man, highly food driven so will be easy to train, he has great engagement, shows great confidence and isn’t phased by anything. Hes very affectionate and playful.

🐺 All of our current little pups have wonderful homes waiting for them however Dogs in Wolfsuits Shenzi (Zehira x Howl) is still searching for her perfect family due to no fault of her own. 💕

Often overlooked, we can only think fate is making her wait for where she’s meant to be.. 😌

She is currently 4.5 months old, up to date on everything (puppy shots + parasite prevention)

She is a happy, healthy, talkative, energetic pup who would suit most fun loving active homes! She would love to live with another friendly energetic playful dog (or two). She is high Siberian Husky content, so previous experience with the breed would be preferable.

She is currently 16 weeks (4 months old) up to date on everything (puppy shots + parasite prevention)

Shenzi is a happy, healthy, talkative, energetic pup who would suit most fun loving active homes! She would love to live with another friendly energetic playful dog (or two). She is high Siberian Husky content, so previous experience with the breed would be preferable.

So far she shows great engagement and has good recall. She travels well in the car and is getting better and better on leash. She shows a good level of confidence and is inquisitive in new situations (the vet, pet shop, Bunnings, the beach). She is highly food motivated which should make her on going training a breeze.

🐺 Our sweet little girl Amari (Elektra x Hendrix) is looking for a very special home.

Amari has an abnormality which will need further management as she grows but should be easily managed with the right home, due to this there is no adoption fee for Amari just a commitment to ongoing care (and potentially a corrective procedure down the track once she is fully grown). She will also be placed on a desexing contract.

Her ideal family would be on the quieter side (not overly active).

She is almost 4 months old and is up to date with everything (has had all her puppy shots, worming, flea + tick prevention) and has been regularly vet checked as she’s grown and is an otherwise healthy happy baby.

She can be shy at first with new environments and people but does warm up quickly and is very loving and affectionate. She loves to run around and play, loves all dogs but also enjoys a cuddle and chilling out inside with you. She walks well on the lead and travels well in the car. Shes extremely sweet. She is a lot more chill like her dad Hendrix than crazy energetic like her mama Elektra 😂

🐺 We’re looking for the perfect home for Miss Wren!

Wren is from our Alaska x Timber litter and will be 1yr old in a couple of weeks.

Wren is a very active girl who will need an active family and she would love it if you have another high energy dog to play with! Wren is very social with other dogs but would do best in a home with a male as she can be a bit dominant with other female dogs (she likes to be the boss).

She is very affectionate and loves everyone she meets. She does have a very high prey drive, so there needs to be no cats or small animals in the home.

Wren has very good recall, LOVES to play with toys with her humans and loves to go on long walks / adventures.

She is up to date on everything and will be desexed prior to leaving us/ or placed on a desexing contract.
