We named her Isabella. Cause she was such a beautiful girl. Since we had cats already in the house (2 at that time), we kept her outdoors on our porch. We fixed a box up for her while we made posters and went door to door looking for the owner. That first night, something happened in the middle of the night. I heard a huge commotion on the front porch. I go outside and see Isabella fighting (and w
inning) a battle with a raccoon!!! I picked her up and ran in the house with her. Put her in the laundry room with a basket, food and water. Well, 2 weeks later this "temporary" cat gave birth to the 5 most beautiful babies in the world!!! In birth order: Cody, Sophia, Tigger, Milo and Belle. Never regretted for one moment taking her in. Ok, maybe a time or two. Those hormones!!! My house went from 2 cats to 3 cats to 8 cats!!! Wow!!! But they are the best. They are so beautiful that I wanted them to be on bags of cat food (still one of my top goals!). They looked better than THOSE cats, I thought. I sent photos out to cat food companies and they sent me back coupons. Great. Not what I wanted but they gotta eat!!! Christmas Eve 2013 I sent out christmas photos out to a few agents. Christmas photos taken by a very close friend who is a professional photographer, whom Tigger has worked with before. Two weeks later i got a message back from one of the agents who wanted to use him for a cat food ad. Not the bag, but it's a start. Thus the modeling career was born. Since then Tigger and Cody have done a tv commercial, tv show, calendars, books, and charity pet fashion shows. Some of the other cats get in on the action at times too. Like Purrcilla. She's just not too thrilled with the runway modeling, but she did wonderful. With their careers, I have made some of the most wonderful friends.
