Celebrating the small things with Nouri today: she ate a good size dinner, after only eating minimal food Saturday/Sunday (and only because i hand fed her dry kibble one piece at a time...)
She also greeted me at the door when i got home tonight with a meow for a cuddle.
We’re definitely not out of the woods, but it’s heartening to see her being herself today

Health update: today we visited Small Animal Specialist Hospital 🏥 for another round of chemo ... unfortunately Nouri’s kidneys are very poorly so we’re trying the most aggressive dose of chemo with home-administration of fluids and anti-nausea meds. This is one sick little pussycat and I hope she has the strength to fight it. She still finds me for cuddles and enjoys sitting on the verandah in the sun watching the birds. Here’s a picture from Thursday - Nouri approves of this alternative brand of kideney care dry food.

She’s home today, the vet was pleased to tell me she’s put on 200g and her kidney levels look better. She’s still a bit groggy from her meds

My sweet little girl has been diagnosed with cancer. We’re starting treatment on chemo today and we are very hopeful it will go well.
