Check out this cutie-pie, Scout😍! Scout was running the show at home & not listening to his owners. We empathize that behaviors such as resource guarding, not obeying commands and bolting out the door can make day-to-day life incredibly stressful. Now that Scout has solid expectations & is held accountable to them, he can make better decisions & make his family proud👏🏽😊! Way to go, Scout!

This gorgeous Pitbull Mix, Samantha, just spent four weeks with us 🙌🏼🐾!! Her owners had their hands full with her impulsivity, reactivity, and disregard to their commands. Many dogs can reach a state of over-arousal that is hard to control & manage. Samantha’s owners now have the tools to pull her out of those bad head spaces, and give her a more meaningful job to do, such as the bed command✨. Awesome job, guys👏🏽

Let’s give a big congratulations to Midnight, the Malinois. 🎉👏🤩Midnight was showing some pretty extreme reactivity to people and dogs, making his owners dread going outside with him! Midnight learned some commands and obedience while at camp but more importantly, he learned how to maintain a calm headspace, and stay relaxed in the face of distractions. 🔑Communication is key!

OMG, so stinking cute! 🥰 The Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are one of the sweetest dogs ever and Coco is here to prove it! 😇 Coco didn’t have any awful behaviors coming to AOD, but sometimes being too sweet is still a problem. During training, Coco learned how to walk well on leash and keep to himself if others weren’t looking for greetings. What an amazing pup! 🐶 🧡

What a beautiful little Aussie!! 😍 This girl, Libby, is an extremely fearful dog. 😱 Her go to response was to run, far and fast, when she sees or hears anything near. This has been extremely problematic in getting her out to do things with the family and has become a vicious cycle. 🔁 Her owners can’t get her out to expose her to new things without building confidence but can’t build confidence without getting her out to see new things. Now, with her new training, she is able to more confidently go for walks and get gradual, positive exposure. 🌳🐿️🚴‍♀️🚗 Working through this sort of behavior can be a long road ahead, but she is certainly on the right track!

Luna, the beautiful boxer, was running the show while out on walks with her owner. 😳 She was very reactive to other dogs, pulled on the leash, and didn’t come back when called. 👎Since giving her a new set of commands, and also a line of communication, we have eliminated the stress for her and her owners while out on walks, and when guests are coming over. 🙌😇

Holly, the Shepherd/Lab mix, was blowing up and reacting to everything when she was out on walks. 💥💣 She now can keep her composure and calmly walk in the heel command, which helps keep her attention off of distractions! 👌😉

Wow! 🤩 Way to go, Finley! This little cutie learned new rules and manners, so she can move to Florida and live on a fishing boat! 🛥️ 🎣 She did an amazing job, and traveled well on the airplane, as well as has been a rockstar with her listening skills! She’s loving it! 🎉

Mazie, you stole our hearts 🥰 ! Mazie came to work on some counter surfing, destructive behaviors in the home & leash pulling🦮! It’s super important to instill rules & have proper tools to communicate those rules to our pups 🐶! This can lead to a more peaceful life for not only the owner, but the dog as well! After graduation, Mazie is able to finally understand expectations & make her owners proud ☺️🥹 !

Check out this adorable pup, Mando😋! Mando recently completed our three week program & we got to tackle a lot of his issues including separation anxiety, pulling on leash, & jumping. Since graduating, Mando has learned better manners & is able to practice being in a calm headspace, even when his owners aren’t around. We are super proud of you, buddy✨🎉!

It’s very important to help anxious dogs learn to be neutral in stressful environments, and give them different outlets☮️😌.
