Lamesa Adoptable Pets We are a registered, 501(c)(3) non profit organization based out of Lamesa, Texas. L.A.P. We also assist with microchipping and providing resources where we can.

was formed, unofficially, in March of 2019, as a page meant to network shelter dogs, in an effort to reduce the rate of euthanasia in our local shelter. It wasn't until April of 2020 that our page really began gaining momentum, and things began happening fast! Since then, we've become a 501(c)(3) Non Profit corporation, and have assisted with the rescue, adoption, and rehoming of approxim

ately 1300 dogs and cats in and around Lamesa! As we grow, we continue to seek out donors, fosters, and volunteers to help with the many needs that come up. We welcome all assistance, big and small.

They’ve let us know this baby has a long history of abuse and medical issues with a previous owner and they have worked towards helping get him on the right track. We are working with them to see if there is any way we can provide assistance as well and the owners are very kind people.

We do ask that everyone is gentle with their comments due to the circumstances surrounding this pup.

We received this urgent plea for help this evening! These 3 babies are local to Lubbock and desperately needing to find a spot somewhere fast, by Monday at the latest! We can get an interested adopter or rescue in touch with the owner!

Owner says they are good with other pets and people/kids and momma dog is spayed but all will need UTD shots and the younger two will need to be spayed.

We were offered this idea to honor one of our dogs whose voice needs to be heard. ❤️

While each and every dog has touched our hearts and every story should be heard- some don't get that chance.

Hopes life was cut short based on so many things including wrong and missed treatment and being sick for a month before even being seen.

For the next 24hrs we are offering adding HOPES name to the sleeve of the Be Their Voice apparel.

Help us remember Hope and the legacy she leaves behind for all dogs and that is they deserve to be heard.

**This fundraiser runs through the 14th, but the Hope Legacy is only available until 8am tomorrow morning.

🆘FOSTER NEEDED ASAP🆘 These babies seem to have been dumped at Forrest Park. Is anyone willing to foster even if it’s temporarily. They are in danger of getting run over or attacked by another animal.

Can you believe we are already halfway to Halloween today? Time sure does fly doesn’t it? Let’s celebrate with a sheet drive for our favorite 🌟𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗞𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥🌟 of a transporter, who is currently driving 17 of Lamesa’s finest furry friends to their forever homes up north. She doesn’t use the sheets for endless ghost costumes, though. These sheets are an integral part of her transport business and she goes through LITERALLY THOUSANDS of sheets a year. They help keep the pups comfortable on their trip, are great for clean up, the list goes on… If you’ve got old sheets you’re ready to part with, we want them! Shoot us a message or drop a comment below! And as always, please share this post to help us reach as many people as possible.
