Nonprofit We are based out of Cookeville TN serving Putnam County. We specialize in pregnant females, orphaned kittens, injured animals which are treated at Ragland and Riley Veterinary Hospital . Our rescued animals are placed in a foster home, where they can be socialized and house trained, which gives them a better chance to be adopted, and make the adoption more successful. We are a Cat Rescue

, but will try to help dogs and other animals find the help they need. Our animals have come from environments that were not healthy for the animals such as abandoned animals, orphaned kittens, pregnant females or animals that were given up due to owner financial or other issues. We rely on sponsors and donations to pay for medical bills for our rescue animals. We are always looking for foster parents for our animals that are in need of a loving and caring home. Get Involved! Many of the animals have had bad experiences with the human population and are scared and untrusting, by becoming a foster home you will be able to socialize and gain the animals trust, and in doing that they will be better prepared to be adopted into their forever homes. Our sweet, shy boy Luther has officially found a family to call his own! This gentle 8-month-old black cat may have needed a little extra time to come out of his shell, but his new family saw the loving, affectionate companion he truly is.

Luther’s journey from a cautious kitty to a cuddly, chatty sweetheart has been heartwarming to watch, and we’re so excited for him to start this new chapter. With patience, love, and maybe even a feline friend to snuggle with, we know he’s going to thrive in his forever home.

We recently stepped in to rescue 8 adult cats. These sweet cats have been through a lot. They were originally rescued from a hoarding situation after their owner passed away. A kind family stepped in to care for them, doing their best for almost a year, but now they find themselves in a tough spot and need help finding these cats permanent, loving homes.

Because they’ve been moved around so much, many of them are scared and unsure—they just need someone patient to show them what love and stability feel like. Could that be you?

We received yet another heartbreaking message today. A family has been feeding a colony of feral cats but can no longer care for them.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗱𝗼:
- We can take in the pregnant mama and her future kittens to get them adopted into loving homes.

- We can get the rest of the cats fixed and vaccinated.

- We can help provide food if someone can give them a safe outdoor space to live.

What we 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 is a safe, clean barn or property where these cats can live out their lives after being fixed and vaccinated.

If you have a barn, workshop, or property where these cats could live safely, 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 reach out. We will ensure they are spayed/neutered and healthy before relocating them.

We wish we weren’t 😞 making another post like this.

We know how often we ask for help, and trust us—we hate it too. But we made a promise to every cat that comes through our rescue: that we would fight for them when no one else would.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗼—his name means “𝘀𝘂𝗻,” a symbol of warmth, light, and hope. Right now, hope is exactly what he needs. ❤️‍🩹

Elio was found with horrific wounds covering his face. At first, we feared he had been attacked. But after an urgent vet visit, we now suspect something even more heartbreaking—an autoimmune disease causing his body to attack itself. We’ve sent off a biopsy and are anxiously waiting for results.

If Elio had ended up anywhere else, he likely would have been euthanized. But we believe his life is worth fighting for. Despite his pain, he still purrs. He still leans in for head rubs. He still has so much love to give.

We never want to overwhelm you with donation requests, but specialized veterinary care for cases like Elio’s is expensive, and we can’t do this alone. If you can spare even $5, it adds up to life-saving care. If you can’t donate, please share his story.

Rex has been with us for several months now, waiting patiently for his chance to find a loving home. We thought he had found his family once, but sadly, it fell through. What happens when a couple finds sick kittens outside and brings them to a high-volume shelter in a bucket? In shelters that have a kitten diversion program, they’ll be given the opportunity to take home some supplies and foster the kittens themselves…and if they’re as awesome as this couple, they’ll say YES! Although we are not a shelter, this is how also how we operate. What we find is that around 35% of people bringing kittens to shelters will actually be willing to foster them if presented with an honest conversation about the risk of euthanasia, and if provided with supplies and support. By empowering the community to play a role, these programs can sometimes even inspire people to foster again and again! These babies cannot survive without community support, so I love to see this kind of transparency and community engagement, which is making a HUGE impact in reducing euthanasia and saving little lives!
