Ilana is a local to Hastings-on-Hudson! She is an animal lover who has volunteered with both a veterinary hospital and cat assistance organization in her past. She would love to help with your household's pets! Ilana has her own transportation and is extremely reliable. She is happy to do individual and/or group walks, take dogs to bark parks for some playtime, feed pets (cats, amphibians, or small furry; everyone needs breakfast), stay overnight and watch your home and dog, and more!

Saturday's Sweeties

For those unaware, I help with animal rescue whenever I can. One of my more common ways to assist is by providing transport.

Saturday I found out a newborn needed transport to from Brooklyn. Then we discovered another kitten needed to be picked up in the Bronx, so we made a pickup stop on our way north.

Kittens need to be kept warm during transport, so when my heating pad failed I cranked the heat and let body heat help.

These little ones are both polydactal! The newest baby also has deformed hind paws (which likely is why momma abandoned them).

Rescues like are the only reason kittens like these can survive to become amazing companions. Please reach out to your local rescues and see if you can volunteer! Watch their pages and respond when calls for help transporting occur. At these young ages a moment can mean the difference between life and death. Please help when you can!
