Deer Ahead!
Due to the heat today, I tried to walk dogs in parks with grass, even if it was just a short circle, to avoid them near hot streets if it was possible.
I noticed at the end of Kai and Mini's loop that we were going to approach a deer. I thought this was a good opportunity to show why I am only walking 2 dogs at maximum at the moment. Both these dogs listen very well to me. They are both small; if they pull, they do not jump or spin circles.
I am slowly building my strength up. I am being very careful to only take on what I can handle. I know that since I work with animals, it means I HAVE to be prepared for the unexpected, so I need to plan for things like if a deer or coyote crosses our path and how to handle the situation safely. Safety is key, and it's why I knew how close I could walk to the deer with these particular dogs.

Goblin's morning munching!
Goblin is much smaller than she appears on camera. So tiny, soft, and sweet!
