2024 was full of memories and firsts!.
Royal & Freya grew up together- only 2 weeks apart. They were like ‘iron sharpening iron’ always working hard to outshine each other. Both earned their NAVHDA UTILITY PRIZE 1 maximum scores at just 17 months old. Both earned their Grand Championship by 18 months. Both accomplished their Field Dog, Water Dog Junior and Field Dog Advanced also by 18 months. But as these talented young dogs began to mature we could see their strengths emerging. Freya loved to ‘run big’ and Roy loved to ‘strut his stuff’. So this year, Freya got to run and Roy got to strut! Hence, Roy being the #1 in hiis breed and Freya # 1 in the Amateur Shooting Dog.
Thank you Madison Bernardin Shaunna Bernardin for always bringing out the best in Roy; and Ron for the amazing results this year with Freya! In Addison to her Top Dog performance, you handed her to yet another NAVHDA Prize 1 and her CKC Water Dog Excellent!

I just watched Royal & Sunnie's Momma Morgan back on the red carpet today on AKC.tv! My heart is full seeing this gorgeous Griff back in the ring!
In 2019 we watched via tv Morgan's breed win at Westminster (check it out on YouTube)
and picked Morgan as our favourite out of a line up of beautiful Griffs!
And today she won breed again (a veteran at 8 years of age!) and she didn't miss a beat showing beautifully in Sporting Group! I'm blessed to have two of her babies and see her reflected in Roy, Sunnie and her grandbabies!

EKKOC was a great weekend seeing earn his CKC Championship in just 2 1/2 weekends!
Sunnie showed like a dream winning Best of Breed twice, making the cut out of a stunning line up of Top Dogs the first time and then winning a Group 4th!
Quinn also showed her heart out taking Breed and a Group 3 with Ryleigh at the end of her lead! So proud of my Granddaughter and her developing handling skills! 💛✨
Royal took a Best Opposite and then 3 Selects and maintaining his #1 Griff placement!

Freya got to run her heart out today in the CPDC Amateur Shooting Dog stake earning her first 5 point major towards her field trial Championship. Congratulations to all the dogs who placed! It was great to see so many different pointing breeds represented✨
