URGENT!! NORANGI HAS BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL FOR WAY TOO LONG! WE NEED TO BRING HIM HOME. He does not need to be in the hospital. He is surrounded by sick animals. This will eventually cause Norangi to get depressed. We are worried about him. We have had people offering to help, but then, for whatever reason, nothing happens. Poor Norangi!! His foreign rescuer told us that every day, people would walk by and ignore Norangi. How? How could anyone ignore these desperate pleas for help??? NO OTHER RESCUE COULD OR WOULD HELP NORANGI! Although we were criticized by some for taking him in after we had agreed to take in Chancewho had also sugfered horribly oytside in writhing pain, we could not, in good conscience, leave Norangi outside to die a slow agonizing death. Sadly, Norangi's first surgery did not solve all of his dental issues. This is why this second and final surgery was needed. Should we have just had Norangi put down from the start? Perhaps. But the vets felt he could be saved and many of you helped us out then with his vet bills, and we were very grateful to you for your kind and generous help back then. This was Norangi last summer BEFORE he was rescued.

💛 Help Norangi Come Hone 💛 Norangi, an older kitty, has already endured more than most. Rescued from the cold streets of Seoul last year, in excruciating pain, unable to eat, he was rushed to our animal hospital for emergency care. After he was strong enough, he had dental surgery to removed the diseased teeth in his very painful mouth. surgery to remove his teeth. Months later, he started having problems again and regular pain-control treatments of steroid injections helped a bit, but not enough. They eventually stopped working. A dental specialist was brought in and she discovered that poor Norangi had root remnants in his mouth, which the specialist said was causing his pain. They had to be removed! Due to the severity of the problem, Norangi could not have surgery on his whole mouth at one time. The specialist painstakingly spent hours working on one side of his mouth during one surgery to remove the remnants on that side of Norangi's mouth. A few days later, she worked on the second side of his mouth. The hospital kindly and generously gave us a huge discount on Norangi's vet bill. However, due to the fact that funds were also needed for King's and Vianni's dental surgeries, there are none left for Norangi's vet bill, which has since grown to well over 2000.00 USD. The longer Norangi stays in the hospital, the higher his bill becomes. Not only that, we worry about his mental health. We worry he may feel abandoned. WE DESPERATELY NEED TO GET NORANGI DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL!!! We also have other cats needing dental surgery. We have reached out to the Korean community here and we did this in the beginning too, hoping another rescue would step up and help Norangi, hoping would rescue him and get him treated. But, many are already dealing with very sick animals in their care. We are kindly asking for your help yet again with Norangi. He needs to come home! We don't want to regret rescuing him. Frisky our newest rescue, is a very sensitive little boy.  ❤ We have had Frisky in our care since Oct. 8, 2024. Diagnosed with FIV, early stage CKD, early stage heart disease, stomatitis and possible Horner's Syndrome, he is doing remarkably well. ❤ He is eating and drinking well. 😍 Although Frisky gets along well with the other kitties and likes to hang out with them under the sofa or near the window where all the cute cat scratcher beds are, he won't go and eat on his own. So, every day, twice a day and oftentimes in the middle of the night, we have to go and get Frisky to feed him. We have to stay right with him to make sure he eats. He will cry, day or night, when he is hungry.  But, he won't go and help himself to all this delicious cat food we have. He won't eat until he is next to one of us and eating his own food in his own dish. We wonder what happened to Frisky when he was living outside to be so fearful to get food on his own. Well, he is safe and comfortable with us, and if we have to continue getting up in the middle of the night to feed him, we will. He is our new little kitty and we will never let him down. King, Norangi and Vianni all recently had 🔻URGENT🔻 dental surgery by a dental SPECIALIST! They had ALL been suffering with severe mouth pain and eating had either stopped completely or was slowing down. Two of the cats had started losing weight and it was becoming dangerous as it was too much they had lost in a short period of time. Advanced medical treatments had stopped working! We had to act fast and get the cats seen by the specialist. She determined that they had root fragments in their mouths that needed to be removed. She also wanted to give each cat C02 laser treatment to remove the damaged, inflamed cells so that fresh tissue could come through. The cats tolerated the surgeries well even though they are not young. They are recovering well and can leave the hospital. We hope these kitties will make a full recovery and can live out the rest of their lives in peace and happiness, enjoying all the food their little hearts desire.
