Tests, Surgeries, Treatments etc.

For quite some time, thanks to the generosity of many of our followers, we have been fortunate enough to get some of our cats the help they have so badly needed. We are humbled by their generosity and very appreciative of their love for our cats and wanting to help them.

Thank you so very much to those of you who have helped us helped us help our cats!! ♥️♥️♥️

At the moment, we have cats needing "corrective" dental surgery, other cats needing their first and hopefully their only dental surgeries, and cats needing tests and treatments.

We also need cat food and litter.

It is very stressful asking for help, praying help will come and managing our cats' medical care as they age.

We are exhausted, worried and stressed.

We understand that the world's economies are struggljng, so we deeply appreciate whatever help we get. We also understand that for a variety of reasons, some people can no longer help support us.

Various people have had fundraisers for us, and we are so grateful to them for thinking of us and wanting to help us. Unfortunately, the funds raised have barely touched the surface of what our cats have needed.

We cannot continue on like this without your ongoing support. We may be forced to make some decisions we don't want to make. We may not have a choice.

If anyone has any ideas as to how we can raise the funds we need, please feel free to share them with us.

When it rains, it pours!!

Callie has been yelling a lot lately. She has vomited a few times as well. Tonight, the yelling has been intense. We suspect this is a gastrointestional problem again which can cause pain, which in turn, causes her to yell.

We need to get her to the hospital for some tests and treatments.

We're sorry to keep asking for help, but we have no choice. We need to get Callie to the hospital tomorrow.

We need roughly 500.00 USD.

Vianni's Vet - Jan.25, 2025
Purpose of Visit: not eating, badly congested, ocular & Nadal discharge

Vianni saw one of our internal medicine vets. We wanted her to see her surgeon too because she seemed to have mouth pain, but the surgeon was unavailable. Also, the vet who examined her said the problem may not actually be her mouth.

Diagnosis: Rhinitis (she was diagnosed with this in the past. No cure, just management

Weight loss (this is a big problem as she has lost too much weight. If she continues to lose weight, she will need to be hospitalized).

Treatment:
- Nebulizer, injection for pain
- oral medication (antibiotics specifically for this particular strain of infection), and appetite stimulant & eye drops

Vianni is very skittish. It is not easy to medicate her. We have to chase her to get to her. But, we have no choice as the long-acting antibiotic injections she had been getting before (Convenia) no longer work on her.

When we got home, Vianni started eating immediately. She also drank a lot of water too.
