- a physical exam (including measuring the mass on his neck & checking his blood pressure)
- an echocardiogram (he has HCM) so that the vets can know how much fluids to give him since he also has CKD

Vianni's Rhinitis is bad again. She needs to have a sample of discharge taken from her nose and tested at a lab to see which antibiotics she should be on. She also needs a blood test and physical exam.

Chamce's Dental X-rays & CT Scan of His Mouth - June 12, 2025

Yesterday, Chance had a CT scan done as well as thoracic x-rays.

The dental x-rays the day before showed that there were remaining tooth root remnants on the right side of his mouth.

HOWEVER, the CT scan yesterday showed that Chance also has tooth
root remnants on the left side of his mouth.

All in all, he has a lot of tooth root remnants that are causing him severe mouth pain and they have to be extracted.

We would like to add that the denral vet who will be performing the surgery on Chance next Wednesday said that because Chance's gums have absorbed some of the roots, it may be difficult to remove those roots. If the nerves are dead, then Chance will not feel any pain.

Also, as this same vet told us a few days ago, when he opens Chance's mouth, he can feel a root remnant sticking out. This is very painful!

Chance still needs to have an echocardipgram BEFORE his surgery since he has HCM. The vets need to know what the condition of Chance's heart is now and if it is safe to do this surgery.

We need help paying for that plus the othet tests (blood etc) Chance needs.

Chance is scheduled for dental surgery next Wednesday - June 18, 2025.
The hospital is kindly covering his surgery. However, Chance needs an echocardiogram and other tests.

Update on Chance ❤❤❤
We took Chance to the hospital today. He will be having his CT scan tomorrow, which the hospital has generously offered to cover.

However, we have to pay for Chance's echocardiogram, blood tests etc. Approx. 700.00 USD is needed.

Chance's dental surgery is scheduled for nect Wednesday, June 18, 2025. The surgery cannot proceed unless the funds cannot be raised. If that happens, the surgety will have to be canceled.
Please help us raise the funds we need so that Chance can finally have his final dental surgery and live life to the fullest!
