I keep some of these in my Cataphractus enclosures to clean up the nocturnal insects that hide between the rocks during the day when the cata’s are out for lunch.
This seems to work super well for both species. They clearly don’t bother eachother and there are no more pest problems.
I am planning to do the same with my Egernia. Maybe S.c.Aberrans with the Cygnitos and epsisolus, and terrestrial Nephrurus with the arboreal depressa maybe 😁.
For the bigger and stronger Egernia like Cunninghami and stokesii this might not be the best idea because i think its slightly dangerous for the geckos.
Choose a species that lives in the same climate conditions, and that has a suitable size. Don’t need any egernia baby eating critters in there. 😆

Always amazing to see how big these eggs are. Varanus kingorum.

This season started late. But now there seems to be no end. 😝
Usually i start building down after september Hamm. But the weather, and the animals are not playing along. Probably my cooling will be december januari this year.
Yesterday i noticed my stokesii giving birth. Swaini , aberrans, elderi, and wellingtonae hatched this week.
And as cherry on the pie we had this Masobe and the first T.kleinmanni hatching short after Hamm.

Endoscope camera multi purpose 🤣
Stole the idea.
This way its easy to check animals that prefer to stay hidden, without causing to much stress.

Breeding box for a group of Mus minutoides. African dwarf mouse. Their small size makes them perfect pray for smaler lizards and snakes. The fresh born pinky’s are smaller then a cricket.
The females give birth to 4-7 baby’s every 19-21 days.
They feed mainly on budgie food, fruits, and mealworms.
Another big plus is that these guys don’t stink like the usually kept and fed mouse.
They should be kept above 22 degrees celcius.

Invested in a new incubator. 🫣
Wilbanks sold by LP racks in Denmark.
The temps are really stable, even when it is warmer outside the incubator. It’s also a good option for hibernation.
Not cheap, for me worth the investment.
