My Happy Pets USA by Vetoquinol A place where pet owners can find everything from everyday aspects of pet health to more specific pet care advice and tips for their four legged friends.

It all began in 1933, in a pharmacy in the town of Lure in northeastern France. Pharmacist Joseph Frechin brought his pharmaceutical expertise to his animal dispensary Laboratories biochimiques de l’Est. He used oxyquinoline's antiseptic properties to treat animals which became a product called Vetoquinol.The product became such a success among veterinarians and pet owners that Joseph Frechin chan

ged the company name to Vetoquinol to continue his pursuit of developing veterinary service and animal pharmaceuticals. By 1970, Vetoquinol had a range of 250 products and today is the 4th largest veterinary-only health company in the world. Today, Vetoquinol sells its products through veterinarians and distributors of pet and livestock care in 26 countries in Europe, North and South America and in the Asia/Pacific region. Vetoquinol has been working to improve animal health for the better part of a century by providing knowledge and pain management solutions to veterinarians around the world. Our Vetoquinol companion animals division offers products for cats and dogs to assist owners and veterinarians with mobility, immune support, behavior and general daily care.
