After a lot of thinking I have made the tough decision to give up breeding and exhibiting,I hope to take it up again in the future when I have more time and energy to give them the attention they deserve,I will be keeping the cavies that already have their championships

Little sow born this morning to Odyssey Whirlpool and Odyssey Beef Cake, not perfect and has a little nose snip but colour back to where it's supposed to be

Happy birthday to the patriarch of my buffs, wildchild scoundrel 6yrs old today

He was my first show pig bought in 2017,I remember going to the CCCC show where I had never seen a guineapig so big, lost alot of weight and conditioning now but averaged around 1.5kg

With 7 generations under him from champion self pink eyed buffs to champion American crested dark eyed buffs

I never would be where I am today if I hadn't fallen in love with this Beautiful boar from the start

Nyxie from Apex Media productions came over last week for the first practise run in preperation for the photo booth organised for the NSWCC/CCCC Joint international show on the 17th and 18th of june.
all though some of the guineapigs decided they didnt want to coopoate with the project,Nyxie was focusing on getting shots true to colour

Bunghee andromeda.

I'm really happy with how this little sow has turned out,as with any show animal I can pick her faults,I have been working with these guys consistently since I bought my first pedigree cavy in 2017,she is my first of the breed worth putting on the table,she is no show stopper but the positive feed back I get from judges is an award in itself.

We have two local pet showsplanned for the 10th of September and the 4th of November this year,both held at bungendore scout hall just outside of Canberra

Our pet shows are based at those who own pet quality animals so you can join in on the fun of exhibiting your animals

Pet shows are a great way to come have some fun,share your love for guineapigs and see what our standard breed shows are all about,they are a great opportunity to talk to experienced exhibitors and find new furry friends from experienced breeders who aim for high quality show animals

So what is a pet quality cavy you may ask? A pet quality cavy is a guineapig that doesn't fit the ANCC standard for that breed,it may mean a guineapig wich is too light or dark in colour,it may have a fun colour combination or coat pattern or funky hair that doesn't fit the ANCC recognized breeds,or it may just not have a pedigree

There is no silly questions, almost everyone in attendance are there for the same reason you are,they just love guinea pigs,you can ask questions anywhere from what breeds exhibitors are showing and why to how to cut your guineapigs nails or is my guineapig a boy or girl?

We had this little guy born yesterday,far from perfect but just what I needed to continue with American crested buff,can now go into am cr pe buff too

I have a breeding group of PE buff available to a registered stud the boar is self the sows are crested,the boar comes from ch bunghee rose and the sows come from ch bunghee merlot,the boar is showable but not a show stopper,good for line breeding

I also have an American crested breeding boar I would like to replace,he has produced three full crested sows for me

Could do with a but more white in the sides but retty happy with the baby's my Americans are producing at the moment,a nice sow to add to the stud

Bunghee sunsprite gave a baby that was worth rushing home for,this not so little sow made up for the little of 5 little partial crested americans born yesterday all by herself.

She also had a brother who unfortunately had a dot on his nose and a little drag/mullet
