She has been rehomed!
This nice 5 year old female is available for rehoming at no fault of hers. The owner had to take a job driving over the road so isn’t home much now. She is a nice foot hunting dog that retrieves good. She is a perfect foot hunting partner. She would not make a trial dog. She is very clean in a kennel and would probably be a very good candidate for a house dog with a little work. She is AKC registered and still in tact. If interested let me know and I will get you in touch with the owner. She is located in northern Indiana.

We had another great day helping out at the Vermilion County Pheasants Forever youth hunt. Vermilion county does an excellent job every year putting this on for new upcoming outdoors young men and women.

Kansas has pushed us to our limits this week! 70 degrees every day we’ve been here and very dry conditions has made finding birds very tough but we have put quail in the bag every day with some good dog work. We will definitely be back. We had a great place to stay with great hospitality at Wing Shooters Rest in Lorraine, Kansas.

Very proud of this girl today. She was able to get the best buck she’s ever taken and do it all on her own. She is one of the most determined people I know when she sets her mind to getting something done. I wish I could have been in the tree with her like we usually do to enjoy the moment but it didn’t work out today so she took care of business on her own.
