With the weather getting warmer everyone is excited to get out doors including your pup! Spring can be a tough time for dog parents. We have spent the winter being less constructive which can have an effect on your dog. We noticed our first time opening windows, going outside, or taking our dog for a walk that our dog is little more reactive or on edge than we remember from last year. No worries, all you both need is a little refresher on structure and direction! Reach out to us if you need some guidance on how to have a fun and balanced pack!

With summer here families are out and about more often. Many are seeing many behaviors that they maybe didn't see before because they were cooped all winter long. Surrender rates are high leaving rescues and shelters over flowing. Baze is happy to say.....We Are Back!! We will re-open May 1st! We will be opening private sessions for now. Classes may re-open in the future we will keep you posted! So much has gone on since we closed. Just a small update on your favorite furry teacher Baze. He tore his CCL (which is like the ACL for humans) in October. Unfortunately this meant surgery and a wait time of 3 months before he could get in! He was kept quiet until survey which was hard for this guy. He likes to be apart of everything. He had surgery January 26th and has to be on strict crate rest. His therapy and healing is going very well! He will be off all restrictions and back to normal daily activities May 26th! Boy it has been hard on him staying so restricted and hard on his housemates. Let's hope his other knee stays healthy. They say they blow out their other CCL within a year of the first 😞

***The Canine Way | Classes Closing***

With saddened hearts, we are announcing our closure for classes. Unfortunately, due to the lockdowns and state mandates from the government officials, along with the overbearing rules and restrictions, we are no longer able to sustain the financial burden of our center. Our company was just too young to withstand the brunt of the state's overextended grip on small businesses. We'd rather let the classes go than close down completely. It is heartbreaking that we have become another casualty of the COVID executive orders. Effective April 1st, we will no longer be offering classes. We will still be offering private sessions. If you feel you want to be apart of supporting our company so we can one-day open classes again, your word of mouth is the best support! Please feel free to recommend us for training help. Feel free to leave reviews on our page and Google. We are so thankful for all of our amazing clients and our partners in the rescue world we would not have made it this far without you! Paws up, and remember you are the influencer! Lead by example by being patient and consistent. Help them be their best self by rewarding healthy choices and mindset and render useless unhealthy choices and unhealthy mindset.
