Meet Twister ! She was a year old in March (DOB 3/21/2023). Twister is an active and fun girl. She gets along well with other dogs. She currently weighs a little under 5 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. She will be available to go to her new home the weekend of July 19th. Pickup in person only. Thank you to everyone who contacted us about Sunny. We had a number of people contact us and the first person who did has decided to adopt her ! We may have some other adult Chihuahuas available for adoption in the near future so if you would like to be contacted when we do, please message us your email address.

Meet Sunny ! Sunny is being retired from our breeding program and is looking for her furever home. Sunny is a sweet, happy girl who loves everyone and gets along with other dogs well. She is 5 years old (DOB 4/6/2019), UTD on all shots and had a dental in July 2023. She was recently spayed and will be ready to go to her new home in mid May. Vaccine reactions can happen, and when we bombard a pet’s immune system with 6 different things at once, the chances of an adverse reaction increase. The safest interval between immunizations is about 3 weeks. Sometimes a combination vaccine is unavoidable, but you can ensure that it is given by itself when your pet is healthy, and not while under anesthesia.

Signs of a reaction may include:
- pain at the injection site
- fever
- lethargy
- lameness
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- anaphylactic reaction
- hives
- swelling
- tumor formation
- shock
- death

🛑 If you think your pet is suffering from a vaccine reaction call your vet immediately.

Side effects usually start appearing a couple of hours after the shot, but they can also take days, and even years, to appear. The most severe reactions are generally apparent within a few minutes.
Most cases of vaccine reactions are never reported to manufacturers and many are never reported to the veterinarian administering the vaccine. This contributes to the narrative that they’re universally safe and can be given needlessly.

Our Story

We are a hobby breeder of quality AKC Chihuahuas. Our puppies are born and raised in our home and handled daily by our family. Our goal is to raise quality, healthy, well-socialized Chihuahuas to be your friend & companion.

Until 2005, we raised and sold AKC Chihuahuas as D & T's Paw Paw Patch. However, with the birth of our children that we were not supposed to be able to have, we took a sabbatical from raising these delightful dogs until our children were older. Now, under our tutelage, our daughter and son have decided to partner with us in raising Chihuahuas. This endeavor is truly a family affair and we are excited to be able to work together as a family ! We all help with the daily care and love of our chihuahuas and most of the photos you see on our FB page are photos that were taken by our 14 year old son.

All our puppies are health-checked by our vet at 6-7 weeks old and will come with a health guarantee. They will also be up-to-date on shots and worming when they go to their new homes between 8-12 weeks of age.

We require a $250 nonrefundable deposit to hold the puppy of your choice. This deposit is nonrefundable, unless there is a problem with the health of your puppy. In that case, the buyer will have their choice of a full refund or of transferring that deposit toward another puppy. This deposit goes toward the purchase price.
