Doc got to join in the Xmas fun with the twins today and become a Christmas elf. He totally enjoyed his jingle bells and being free in the office. He greeted Chelsea like a warm and welcome friend with lots of kisses. Doc has become a most awesome dog thanks to Training Between The Ears methods. He is available for adoption through Doberman Pinscher Rescue of PA, Inc.

Doc has been progressing so nicely. He has earned the right to be off leash in the house and yard with my dogs. We have been working on calmness with all 3 dogs out. And tonight a very short play session was allowed. Doc did fantastic and Dawkins was very patient with him. My dogs have been invaluable in helping Doc learn to be a dog. Doc is available for adoption through Doberman Pinscher Rescue of PA, Inc.

Doc will be available through Doberman Pinscher Rescue of PA, Inc. when he is ready to go. For now he is in school learning how to be a dog and is doing so well :) He is learning a new language to communicate through with Training Between The Ears. I will be teaching whomever adopts Doc this language so they will have an instant connection to him. It will help make his transition smooth into his forever home.

It’s time for us to ask for your help. We have shared a few posts about our tormented 4-year-old Doc. In case you have missed those posts, this is Doc’s story:

Doc was living in a pitch-dark garage, chained to the wall, surrounded by his own waste. His owner confessed to animal control that she had stopped feeding him and was withholding water. We were unable to determine how long that was going on for. Only Doc and his owner know exactly what went on in that garage, but we do know when animal control went to rescue him, upon seeing humans, he could only cower, tremble in fear, and soil himself.

Six weeks ago, DPRPA rescued Doc from his Hell. He has been with our foster / trainer Robin Khasse, owner of Buttheaddogs.com who has been working extensively with him. Although Robin is giving DPRPA an amazing price to assist in Doc’s rehabilitation, as you can imagine, the costs of training, multiple vet appointments, extremely high-quality food, supplements, and supplies are beginning to add up.

We humbly ask that you find it in your heart to donate to this incredibly sweet boy who deserves another chance at a happy, carefree lifetime.
