We are a husband and wife design team based in Glassell Park, CA where we live with our cats and dogs. I'm a native Californian and Anthony is my favorite Canadian. I'm a costume designer with a focus on feature films {www.rebeccagregg.com} that has lead me to a long time interest in jewelry design. Anthony is a multi-discipline craftsman and was managing an avocado farm when we met. We both have

a serious appreciation for nature and particularly trees & wood. I got interested in using wood to make jewelry and was throwing out ideas about making bracelets when Anthony decided I should have a lathe. We got really excited about all the things we could make. We bought a lathe and he began making bowls, first with wood from avocado trees that had to come down on the farm & then scouring Craigslist for other varieties. We've gone on many an adventure mostly around Los Angeles hunting for downed trees as well. All of the wood we use for our bowls comes from trees that have been blown down in a windstorm or cut down due to rot. Almost 2 years later, after outgrowing our first lathe, we now have a larger machine to turn bigger pieces. We're also venturing into the world of furniture design using locally sourced vintage reclaimed lumber. Please stay tuned for new wearable pieces coming soon!
