Hey there, I'm Polar! I'm a 14-week-old cattle dog mix, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home. 🏠 I'm a playful pup who loves to run and play on the farm. I get along great with other dogs, cats, and kids, so I'll fit right into your family! 🐕🐈

I'm the perfect family dog and a loyal adventure buddy. I'm very friendly and absolutely love to play and cuddle. With my adorable pointy ears, it's a mystery to everyone why I haven't found my home yet. I'm also very smart and currently learning potty training and my indoor manners. I really just want to make my new family proud. Whether we're hanging out at home or going on exciting adventures, I'm ready to be by your side.

We had an amazing adoption event today! 🥳 Three pups found their forever homes, thanks to the support from Mountain Med Spa for hosting us. 🏠💙

This week has been fantastic with a total of five adoptions! Congratulations to Brutus (now Duke), Maggie, Arnold, Yoda, and Ivan on their new journeys with their loving families. Hey Friends! It's me, Cyrus! ☀️
I just had an amazing bath at Michelle's Mountain Grooming today. My skin was so dry and cracked from being out in the hot desert for so long, but Michelle took such good care of me. She gave me a soothing medicated oatmeal bath, and now I feel fresh and clean! I wasn't too happy about the bath at first, but I'm feeling much better now.🛁🫧

I want to give a huge thank you to Michelle for all the love and care she gives to rescue dogs like me. Most of us come straight from the streets, often dirty and smelly, and some of us have never had a bath before. But Michelle treats each of us with kindness and love, always ready to help out.💗

We have a wonderful group of puppies ready for adoption or foster care, ranging in age from 6 to 16 weeks. These sweet, mixed-breed pups come from the reservation and are expected to weigh around 40-60 lbs when fully grown. They're all friendly, great with other dogs, and have received their first round of puppy shots, dewormer, and flea/tick prevention. Spay and neuter included with adoption.

🐾 SAFE AND SOUND 🐾
We were contacted about a bully mix lost or abandoned out in the middle of nowhere.
Today we went out to find him and thankfully he came right out and was so thankful to see us. He was found about 10 miles out on a desolate dirt road, in 100-degree heat. 🥵 Thankfully, he was near a river with some big trees for shade and water, or this boy would have never servived the scorching sun. ☀️

He is an older boy, with only one eye that we are now calling Cyrus. He is very skinny and mangy, with scraps and sores all over his body and his feet are swollen and sore from walking on the hot ground. 🔥

Despite his condition, Cyrus is incredibly happy and grateful to be safe. We’re taking him to the vet soon to get checked out, and see what we can do for his bad eye. This sweet old gentleman is in urgent need of a foster home. If you can help, please reach out. Thank you. 🙏💙🐾

I just love cuddling and wrestling, and I really enjoy perching on your shoulders or curling up around your neck like a cozy scarf.🧣At night, I sleep in my crate with my stuffed animal, though I'm still learning to sleep through the night without crying or needing a potty break. When I need to go outside, I try to let you know by barking and searching for the door.🚪🐾

Thank you to everyone that came out to our clinic this weekend. Dispite some issues with our building we were able to spay and neuter over 100 dogs and cats in the McNary and Ft Apache areas. Thank you to all the volunteeres, Wmat Rmsf, and Animal Balance and their wonderdul team for making this possible. We also want to thank Rocket Dog Rescue, for your awesome food donation and for providing all the microchips for our clinic. It was wonderful working with you all. Can't wait to do it again in August. 🥳

I’m the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, always blossoming with affection. I’m house trained and use the doggy door like a pro! 🐾SHEEP DOG UPDATE 🐾

Great news—Millie is safe and settling in at her foster home! After a much-needed shave, Millie lost 3 pounds of thick, matted fur.😮 Although she has some bad urine burns on her back end and is quite underweight, she seems to be in good health. Millie is an absolute sweetheart, gentle and loving, and loves being right by her foster’s side. She will be spayed and ready for adoption once she gains a little weight. Stay tuned for more updates on this precious girl! 🐾💙

An FYI, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Spay/Neuter Clinic scheduled for today is cancelled. The Clinic will continue tomorrow on June 9 at 8 am at the Fort Apache Community Building.
