These two sweet boys have been wandering around PTCC for a couple of weeks with no luck finding their owners. We’d love to get them off the streets and into the loving homes they deserve, but we need foster homes to make that happen!
Since they’re still on the street, we don’t know much about them yet. Both seem friendly but a bit timid. They’ll need a quiet place to decompress for a few days, and a slow introduced to other dogs.
We provide food and cover all medical expenses—you just provide love and a safe place to stay until they find their forever home.

This sweet girl, Diva, is in desperate need of a foster home (or forever home!). Her current foster is moving at the end of the month and her new apartment will not allow her to continue to foster Diva.
She is 1 or 2 years old, loves kids, and gets along great with other dogs. She is completely house broken and crate trained and is a very smart girl.
She is recovering from a tumor that she had chemo to take care of is almost done with recovery! Tails of Love rescue will take care of any medical needs and all expenses for Diva, all you need to do is provide her with a loving home.

To the person who left us out in the cold, abandoned in the snowstorm without our mama:
You may not realize what you did, but we felt every bit of it—the fear, the confusion, and the cold. We were just little pups, lost and shivering, wondering why we were alone. All we knew was that we missed our mama, and we needed someone to keep us safe and warm.
We waited in the snow, hoping for someone to come back, to pick us up and hold us close, but no one came. We didn’t understand why you left us there, vulnerable and scared. We watched as our siblings quietly slipped away in the cold, helpless to save them. We saw them grow still, and we felt even more alone.
But even though you left us behind, we’re stronger than you thought. Kind people found us, gave us warmth, and showed us love. We’re safe now, learning to trust again and finding out what it means to be truly cared for.
Someday, we’ll find a forever home where we are loved, cherished, and never abandoned. We hope you understand the impact of what you did. And we hope, too, that our story reminds others of the responsibility they have when they bring animals into their lives.

Do you remember me? I’m the blue lace pup who came into Blue Ridge Pet Clinic with a broken leg. My previous owner wanted me euthanized because I wouldn’t be able to hunt anymore. But thanks to all of you, I’m here today, living my best life with an amazing family that loves me! I’m getting around just as well with 3 legs as I did with 4. And honestly, who needs hunting when I can run and play with my wonderful family every day? 🐕
Thank you all for giving me this second chance! Your kindness and support saved my life, and I’ll never stop wagging my tail in gratitude. 🐾
