I am climbing the CN Tower in April to support WWF-Canada and I’d really love your support to help me reach my fundraising goal! Every dollar raised helps create a brighter future where nature and wildlife thrive.

I’ve decided to do the CN Tower stair climb again this year to raise donations for the World Wildlife Fund. The climb is in April, please stay tuned if you could spare some extra money for a good cause as I get my ass whooped climbing 1776 steps. I’ll post a link soon. 🐼

After a great deal of thought, I am sad to announce that I will be stepping back from my dog training practices. Thank you so much for the many years with the wonderful people I have met and worked with on helping to better communicate with their fur babies. It honestly warms my heart to see the progress everyone has made through my guidance.

With the economy lately and a new career in my future, I just do not have the time for both.

But I want to encourage everyone to keep following my page and join me on adventures with Bruce the Bully. We will continue to provide videos with tips and tricks for training. If you have a simple question, please feel free to reach out, I am still here to help.

The next couple days are going to be hot. Walk your dogs early in the morning or later in the evening, or even skip a day. Avoid the extreme heat. Be kind.

As some of you may know, I have had a rough go lately. My dad passed away late last year and I was overwhelmed with how much work was to come with that. It is still not complete.

A couple days ago, my 20 year old cat was diagnosed with cancer. They found nodules in her lung, kidney and spleen. My time with her is limited.

I have decided to take this time away from dog training and dedicate the time to kitty and myself for the next little bit. I will not be taking on new clients, but will continue with the ones who already have arrangements or are currently in process.

Thank you all for understanding through this tough time. I will return ❤️

Creating that Special Bond

I have been privileged enough to have a dog in the home my entire life. The bond formed between a canine and its human is a very powerful thing. At Pawsitive Start Dog Training, I want to assist in creating that same bond I have felt, with each individual canine and its family. Having a well-behaved, well-mannered dog can bring a lifetime of happiness and joy to a home. To help me achieve this I became a certified dog obedience trainer/instructor and am a professional member of the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers (CAPDT). I continuously keep myself updated on new techniques and methods to give myself the multiple training tools to pull from.
