I want to introduce the newest member to the Cambell pack. Please meet Okarito, aka Okie. Okarito was a Maori tribal chief and the Okarito Kiwi is the most endangered species of Kiwi. He is 13 weeks old. I am so excited to have him join Kiwi and me in our adventures. Now we have a Kiwi and an Okie in our house,,,,Oh yeah, we already did.

Well, it's that time again. Dock Dogs World Championship is less than 2 weeks away. Once again, Kiwi and I are going. We are excited. I will post the official link for watching the competition. Remember, that there should never be a charge to watch. Those who ask for payment are scammers. Don't do it. Although, I don't have the schedule yet, finals should be Saturday night and Sunday. I will keep everyone posted.

We will be hosting Open Dock this Saturday and Sunday Aug 6-7.

This is open to new and experience students. There will be instructoron hand to help you out and improve your jumps with your dog. If your preparing for NADD regional or Dockdogs World's come to us to get the most out if your dog!
We are also scheduling private lessons message us to get signed up for lesson.
Open Dock $35 and $10 for additional dog
Private lessons are $50 for one hour lesson.

Gaylen Culver from Channel 4 news came out to Oklahoma Thunder Dock Diving and did a story for Is This A Great State or What. That segment is schedule to show on Channel 4 news at 5pm this Wed. It was so much fun doing this. You should really watch. If you have ever thought about Dock Diving or wondered if you or your dog would like it, this will bring you in.

Someone was asking me about how to train a deaf dog. Here is one of the beginning things to try to teach. Especially if you are a fan of clicker training. Yes, deaf dogs can learn clicker training.

Deaf dogs are just as capable of learning as a hearing dog. They simply need a few considerations to help them out. Atta Pup has a brand new Facebook support...

Dockdogs at Orijen National Championships.
We had great night last night competing in Dueling Finals!
THUNDER won 1st place in Class 4 and I could not be more proud of this pup. 8 years old and born with dysplasia and he still continues to amaze.❤

Berkeley aka BERK! BERK!. HE killed it up here in mountains. He placed 2nd in Class 2 Finals and we combined to have .001 reaction time in final race.

It's official. All of the Oklahoma Thunder Team that went to Dueling Dogs Worlds have made it finals. I am proud beyond belief. Bryan Landers and Thunder are in Class 4, Jamie Lynn Uhles and Bella, Wendi Daczewitz and Josie, and Bryan Landers and Berk are in Class 3, Wendi Daczewitz and Zues are in Class 2, and Wendi Daczewitz and Pryme are in Class 1 and Brianna Baughman and Ace are alternates in Class 1. If anybody drops out, they will advance and compete.
We have a wonderful group of people at our dock and I can say enough about Bryan Landers and Sherry McInturff Landers, the owners.
Be sure to watch tonight and come out and learn Dock Diving and Dueling Dogs. There is no better dog sport. There are ones that are close and that we enjoy but this is by far our fav.

I apologize if I forgot to tell someone personally. I think that I told those that needed to hear from me.

The world champ gremlins got Team Kiwi again. Yesterday, Kiwi started coughing so we went to the vet this morning. Well, turns out she and JJ have kennel cough. So we will not be attending Dueling Dogs World Championships this year after all. This is quite a disappointment for both of us. Yes, mostly me. At least the gremlins didn't wait till finals this time.

I want to wish everyone clean runs and clean starts and don't let your teammates mess with you. Because they will.....

And to my teammates.....I wish YOU the best runs of the weekend. Play hard. I know you will make us proud.

A classic example of a dog that doesn't know he has a rear end. Believe it or not, none of them do. They have to be taught, so be careful in what you ask them to do for the first time. They just might fall off.😀
