I'm truly, truly humbled right now. I've been going through it this year. It's a lot. A few people know. Only 2 know everything. Today part of my tree just bent right over and split. This was not a little or medium branch...it was hunk-a-hunk tree sized "limb." I had no idea what to do. I went to my neighbor's of 19 years and the husband told me where to start. The HOA...or maybe city compliance guy stopped and told me to stop. He didn't want me to get hurt. They could clean it up if it went into the road. He said he wouldn't cover the road anyway. If you know anything about my community a nice compliance guy is a wonder!I went inside for a break and to stew in my frustration. When I sat down to do so I saw my neighbor cleaning my yard. I went out and she told me to go rest. I didn't. Kid skated by and helped. When I told him I didn't have cash, he told me he just wanted to help. An almost 50 year old woman, a 70 year old woman and a young 20 something man continued to work and had a great conversation. I had to go work
I came back to branches across my yard and my neighbors' yards on both sides. My across street neighbor said it came down in like 30 minutes of her pulling up around 430. I left at 230. They called the fire department and they got it out of the road. Not only did it block the road it blocked their driveway. My neighbors (different ones) then cut it all up and helped me move it while they were having to do their own too. Then another neighbor came out. You can see the progress in my pics. I truly, truly needed this reminder of really good people.

We had a booth at the Providence Village HOA Easter event today. There was such a great turn out and so much for the kiddos to do. We completely forgot to take pics at the booth but Meghan got this sweet one of me and the employee of the month at the little petting zoo. They were directly behind us so that made us happy campers.

When I met Shelby and her sisters, I immediately became obsessed with this cute scruffy dog with the big ears. I sent her pic to Meghan, my daughter and partner, and she said "She looks like Bear in the Big Blue House. You know how much I loved that show as a child." Fast forward to 3 years later and my child has her child and she now watches Bear in The Big Blue House!

Our little Hobbs came to us as a foster puppy with his sister Heidi Ho. They were found in a box in a parking lot with half their fur eaten off by fleas. Heidi found a wonderful home, but our little neurotic boy was always so nervous at meet the pet events. It's ok though, what he was really telling us was that he was home. We put on Bear in The Big Blue House for a client dog last week and realized Hobbs makes a perfect Tutter.

Moose is going as Sam Wi******er this year. He is the sweetest, goodest boy just like Sam, at first. He is a big boy (I am included for scale). He gives great side eye if he thinks you are out of line much like Sam did to Dean. And most importantly ,his name is Moose!!!!

Bill has decided he wants to be the Trickster on Supernatural aka Gabriel aka Loki. We got Bill as a foster kitten and he eventually became a foster fail. Bill is my number one office assistant, my biggest pest and my smartest boy. He runs meetings in the conference room (the bathroom) and gives detailed updates. Treats have to be hidden and doors have to be locked when he is around or he throws treats to the dogs then opens doors to allow them to escape. He can be super sweet with purrs and head bumps, super creepy with head tilts and squinty stares, and just an overall pain.
Who better to go as than the guy that is always stirring the pot and a step ahead of everyone else in the room.

Today we have Dingo doing his best impersonation of Jaws. He is actually a sweetheart and would never eat you...unless you are giving him a treat...then there is a good chance you will lose a finger
