We’ve had a few new followers recently so thought we'd re-introduce ourselves. 👋

We’re Clare and Sooz and we are the team behind DREAMS Dog Training.

Our goal is to make dog training as accessible as possible and to introduce you and you best friend to activities that will enrich both of your lives.

Whether you have an adolescent dog who has forgotten everything they learnt at puppy school, or a reactive dog who needs something to do, we can help you.

We work with all dogs and their people to coach, support and advise on:

Basic training - from focus, to recall, to loose lead walking and beyond

Enrichment activities - Scentwork and Mantrailing

Sports activities - from foundations to competition level

And we do that by creating channels of communication between you and your dog, making training a valuable and enjoyable experience for all.

We joined forces in January 2024 through our shared love of dogs and have found our ethos, skills and personalities complement each other perfectly.

We both regularly compete our own dogs and can often be found camping in our vans in a field whilst discussing the best way to teach a rear cross!!

We each live with multiple dogs and love nothing more than to spend time walking them, playing with them and hanging out on the sofa with them.🐾

Helping our customers gain confidence in their dogs abilities, learn new skills and make new friends has been immensely rewarding.

Animals have been a big part of our lives. Nothing brings us greater joy to see dogs and their humans having the best time together 💕

And as we hit 6 months working together we are so proud to have supported so many dogs and their people to achieve their goals. We can’t wait to see what the next 6 months bring.

We’re always excited to meet new dog owners in our circle. So don't be shy!

This is for anyone who has done basic Scentwork training with their dog and they are searching for odour.

If you haven’t done any Scentwork before but would like to join in, keep an eye out for classes at both 4 Active Paws and Sooz Foster Dog Training. We are also going to be running some workshops with DREAMS too.

😃 Thank you to everyone who came to the Nosework Games competition today.

It was great to watch you and your lovely dogs having the best time doing the thing they love the most - sniffing!

😍 All teams did incredibly well and it was so lovely seeing the dogs grow in confidence with each game.

A special thank you to Sooz for giving up her time to score and Katherine for getting the kettle boiling in the morning!

⭐️MAGNUM⭐️

Magnum is a 7 year old GSP. He loves his soft toys, but never ever rips them. His favourite is Goosie, who honks when squeezed. 🪿

His most favourite thing of all is using is nose, every evening at 8:30 he has his treats hidden about the room, once he has found them all he will quite happily settle until bedtime.

He also demands a Scentwork search everyday, preferably in the garden. He has been working hard on improving his indication!

Magnum loves learning new tricks, he is a very quick thinker and will outsmart his human if she's not on the ball!

Magnum also loves his Hoopers as he can open up and run fast.

In his spare time he enjoys chasing skimming stones in the sea, he also enjoys ripping up cardboard and scattering it all around the room! 🌊📦

The most quirky thing that Magnum does, is to get very very excited when the rotary clothes line gets folded up. He prances round and round barking excitedly.

We had a fabulous day on Saturday. Kevin entered Super Sniffers Nosework Games Trial, and he was on fire!!
He achieved 2nd in Line Ups, 1st in All Clear and 1st Overall.
He found every single hide! His enthusiasm for Scentwork is boundless.

I also had a great time Judging the Level 2 in the afternoon. The thing I love most about judging is getting watch all the different teams working their Scentwork puzzles.

Bray 🐾

Bray has been chosen for Dog Of The Month for his continued enthusiasm in everything he does.

Bray is a 3.5 year old Black Labrador. His favourite things are tennis balls and cardboard boxes. He loves Scentwork as he loves to learn, enjoys sniffing and gets super excited. In his spare time he eats, runs and enjoys cuddles on the sofa.

Kevin and I did a thing!!
We entered an online Rally completion - only the second time we have done it, and he only went and won us 6th place with a score of 208!
2 points lost on our bonus section, 1 point for being out of position and 1 for additional cue.
Little bit of work needed on our fronts but otherwise perfect score for our round!

Super smart and super fast Nellie, she loves her Hoopers and can run rings around her Human, Mark. She picks things up so fast, she'll be giving Kevin a run for his money!!
