When I was a little girl, i loved ANYTHING having to do with animals. I've always been a nature girl at heart. I always wanted pets, but was allergic to cats, and my wonderful Single Mother wasn't able to juggle me AND a pet. So i soaked myself in National Geographic and whatever nature shows were on TV for years, looked after neighborhood cats/dogs, and spent MANY days and afternoons in the woods
looking at birds, and tracks from different animals. Fast forward to my young adult years, and a friend of my Mom's needed help with her pup. I became her dogsitter, and she passed the word along, and before i knew it, I had a small business going. I had 3 main clients, many of whom had me taking care of their landscaping as well. I quickly found myself LOVING the plants as much as the pets, and so began my love of horticulture as well. It has been ten years, and I have had COUNTLESS wonderful referrals, met WONDERFUL pups and cats, I've had fish, birds, and lizards sprinkled in there. The trust and love that my clients and their friends have shown and given to me is priceless, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to do something I love. I try, for all intents and purposes to be fair and honest in my pricing. One of the other reasons that I love what I do, is because kennels and vets, while fantastic; tend to nickle and dime people to pieces, charging extra for things like walks, free play, treats, etc... You get PERSONAL, love and care for the same flat rate. The only time you will see and extra charge is if I go up in price, which I don't see happening any time soon. :)
