That was his spot, it had always been his spot until that bastard ninja snatched it away. He adjusted his hood to hide his face from the summoners around him, not that they would see, they were too intent on the massive screens above. Sickened by the display, Talon shoved his way to the back of the auditorium and headed for the exit. He turned for one last look at the monitors just in time to see
Zed score a pentakill. He threw open the doors and set off the fire alarm on the wall before vanishing into the night. He sat on one of the rooftops overlooking the Institute of War, spinning a single blade idly in the palm of his hand. A single tone from his pocket told him that he was late coming home. It was never a summoning message these days. Katarina had been keeping a tight leash on both Talon and Cassiopeia since the disappearance of her father. When did he become the protected, instead of the protector? When did those girls grow up? He fished the messaging crystal out of his pocket and looked into the smiling face of a young girl. She had serious eyes, like her father but there was laughter in them too. Her crimson hair contrasted perfectly with her skin as pale as moonlight. On his own face he traced the scar this young girl had not yet received, a daily reminder of his own failure. As he got up to leave, a clattering on the rooftop made him stop and draw steel. He turned in time to see a single raven fly into the night. A blue glow rose out of the gutter attached to the rooftop. He approached cautiously until he could see the item clearly. It was a single ring made of blue stone. It was made by Doran, any champion could recognize his handiwork. He wound back his arm and was about to cast the ring into the darkness, but then he paused. Zed was a more skilled assassin, and was much more powerful in most match-ups. Talon couldn't hope to match him as an attack damage assassin, but what if... He tucked the ring in his cloak pocket and hopped down to street-level. His face, so often showing an ominous scowl, was set in deep thought as he wandered back to the house.

And that was the birth of AP Talon, ladies and gents.
