TLC Animal Refuge We are a small 501c-3 non-profit animal rescue. Our mission is to focus primarily on cats and dogs in the Madison County, Kentucky area.

TLC Animal Refuge takes in unwanted cats and dogs and finds loving homes for them from the primary service area of Madison County, Kentucky. TLC also assists with TNR in Berea, KY, and when able, in other areas of Madison County. TLC is a foster-based organization.

RockRuff here! I had an amazing day playing and hiking in the snow. I keep my eyes on my people when I’m off leash and I will not leave them. And I love to cuddle in the blankets when I wear myself out.

Rock Ruff’s New Year resolution is to find a new home this year!

Rock Ruff is 6 months old. We know his mom was a border collie mix but guessing dad may have been a German shepherd mix ? Feel free to take guesses. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, flea tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, and crate trained.

Rock Ruff has been raised with kids, cats, chicken, and other dogs. He is such a gentle soul. He will take treats very carefully, in fact, he would rather you just drop the treat so there is no chance he could bite you. He is calm and very easy going, especially for a puppy his age. He is very smart and should train very easily. He has been off leash on hikes and will not leave us. He would make the perfect addition to any family.

Meet Willa! Willa is a 4 month old border collie mix. She is an absolute sweet heart! She is very mild and submissive. She was the smallest of her litter, and because of that, her only vice is that she can be protective of her food. She has only been like that with her brothers, and does not act out when people or older dogs get too close while she is eating, so I am confident with good guidance, it will not be an issue.

This girl loves to cuddle! My 5 year old likes to dress her up. (I will have to get a picture sometime.) She is crate trained, amazing with young kids, and good with other dogs, cats, and chickens.

Willa is spayed, microchipped with a temperature reading chip, fully vaccinated and is current on heartworm, flea and tick prevention. Please consider making her part of your family.

Meet Rock Ruff! Rock Ruff is a 4 month old shepherd/ border collie mix (and who knows what else.) He is the biggest in his litter, but he is a gentle giant. He is already very calm and well mannered. He is crate trained and amazing with children. He is great with other dogs, cats, and chickens. He loves toys and could probably learn to fetch easily.

Rock Ruff is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped with a temperature reader, and has been and heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Please consider making him part of your family. You won’t regret it!
