We are thrilled to announce an exciting addition to the VCA Woodland Central Animal Hospital team.
Please join us in welcoming Darian, our new groomer, who comes with four years of valuable grooming experience. Although she has not had the pleasure of working with cats yet she does hope to be able to add that to her portfolio soon. Darian is eager to meet you and your beloved furry friends. She is passionate about her work and is looking forward to providing top-notch care and grooming services for your pets.
Darian spends her free time with her husband Michael and her daughters, Andi and Sadie. In addition to her two dogs and cat, she shares her home with many other animals, showcasing her affection and understanding of pets. We are confident that her expertise and dedication will ensure that your pets receive the highest quality of care.
Darian will be seeing grooming appointments Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
What do we do during our breaks, some might ask? Only being the most diligent emotional support humans, of course!!💙

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of our dearly loved groomer, Terry, after almost 30 remarkable years with VCA. Terry has been an integral part of our team, providing professional and loving care to all the furry friends that have crossed her path. Her dedication and passion for grooming have left a lasting impression on both our staff and our clients. We will miss her immensely, but we wish Terry all the best in this new chapter of her life.
We will be CLOSED from 2pm-4pm today for our monthly Staff Meeting, instead of on our usual 2nd Wednesday of the month!

With heat waves sweeping across the country, blue-green algae is appearing in new areas and posing an increased risk to pets.
Found in lakes, ponds or any source of standing water, it’s extremely toxic and consuming it can be fatal. The best way to prevent accidental poisoning is to keep a close eye on pets when they’re around water.
If you think your pet has been exposed, take them to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital and contact the ASPCA Poison Control at 888-426-4435.

July is Lost Pet Prevention Month! Shelters and rescues have an influx of stray pets enter their facilities in July, many of whom have run off during fireworks or storms. Ensure your pet is reunited with you, with a microchip. Unlike collars, this is a permanent identification that cannot fall off of your pet.
