Having been interested in horses all my life, I rode at various riding schools and on friends ponies throughout school years, I took my first opportunity to study equine management for 2 years at Otley college. In this time doing stage 1 and 2 of the BHS exams. Through my work experience I started working for a hunt master of the essex and Suffolk hunt. It was here that I developed a love for hunt
ing and turning horses out to a high standard. I moved to a yard of 9 horses and spent a season preparing them for hunting for my boss and riding a few horses during the week for some livery clients. I then took on my dream job at a private yard near my home town of Hadleigh. In the last 4 years I have been in charge of a yard with 6/7 horses that regularly hunt and compete. A yard with the highest standards and fantastic horses I developed my skills for schooling horses and preparing them for the family to ride. In this time I have competed in dressage, showing, show jumping and eventing up to pre-novice. I also have a keen interest in rehabilitating horses and having had the chance to successfully rehabilitate a horse diagnosed with kissing spine who has now gone back to hunting and competing have found it was very rewarding
