Calling all Game of Thrones lovers! Introducing my newest foster, Arya. We were going to name her Nymeria but no one could pronounce it…. Anyways I digress.

She was found by a former adopter of mine hiding under their car during a severe rainstorm.

She is estimated to be 6 months old, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and has her rabies shot now that she has been admitted to our rescue. We think she is Husky mix but are waiting for her Wmbark DNA results to be certain.

A little about her personality.
* She takes a few minutes to warm up to her family, but once she does she is glued to your hip.
* She loves her foster Mom and Dad but is skittish of the teens in the house.
* She loves her foster brother Chewie but seems to have a strong prey drive towards smaller dogs so we would not recommend a household with small dogs or cats.
* She is potty trained and will signal when she needs to go outside. If you have a dog door she k is how to use one and that would work.
* She is not a jumper but may run given the chance so she needs a secure she can’t jump out of.
* She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate thru the night. Often you can find her in the crate during her regular relax time as well.
* She loves walks but still needs practice getting into her harness as she flops around like a fish preparing for her walk.
* She is very food motivated.
* She knows sit, come, and her name. We are working on stay and go to bed and proper manners when the front door is open.

She would love to have an active person or couple to call her own. We would recommend she not be placed with a family with kids due to her skittishness but she is not agressive so it’s really just that she runs from them. If there were older teens in the home or young adults that come and go that would be okay. But she isn’t the type that would be adopted to a family with young kids who want a playmate. She doesn’t need another dog but if the home had one it should be roughly her size with a tolerance for goofiness. 😂

Fun with friends 🤩 (Han) Solo was sent back to his “family” after they did everything to prove they owned him and could keep him but just a week and a half later they gave him back siting that he was teething too hard on the daughter.

He is 11.5 weeks old! He is teething. He is a puppy and he barks. I did have a feeling these folks didn’t know what they were getting into with a puppy and I let them know I would take him back and even warned Melody. And I was correct because he was returned back to me a week and a half later. (Foster mama instincts 🤷‍♀️)

Now we can find this baby his proper family! One who knows what it takes to raise a puppy and is willing to train as the baby gets older.

He is a sweetheart and just needs a kind patient family to care for him.

His friends this week are : Luna, Cannoli, Biscotti, and Zoey; and of course his foster bro Chewie!!!

This big girl hit 17 weeks. She is so cute and funny and spunky! This past weekend she hung out with a bunch of kids with no fear and met Noah and LOVES him. She seriously loves doggie friends and is awesome with adults and young kids. Teenage boys seem to make her cautious but not scary or freaky. I think they just stomp and move too fast for her. But she will get there. I am proud of you

Tonight it’s a full house. We have nine dogs, including our resident pup. Everyone’s getting along, and you honestly wouldn’t even know because there hasn’t been any barking in the last two hours since they’ve all met each other. I’m loving this crew. Most of them are through Love & Second Chances. Thank you to those who spread my name and thank you to those who are boarding with us and trusting us with your pups.

Let the doggy games begin. Today we have Cannoli, Biscotti, Charlotte Twila, and our resident pup Chewie.
