It’s been a busy few weeks behind the scene at Muttley HQ. We have a new van, exactly the same but better. So you probably won’t have noticed. I’ve also now got a current DBS certificate and spent yesterday updating my canine first aid skills. So I’m feeling quite pleased with myself .😁

I’ve not posted any photos for a while as I’ve been busy trying to work my way through all of the necessary obligations of a next of kin when I’m not out walking but I’m getting there.
Toby seems to have got into most of the pictures but then he does love to get involved and make lots of friends.

I am sorry to say I lost my mum last night. She put up an amazing fight but cancer took her. I’d like to keep things as normal as possible this week but may have to move walks around as I try to navigate through the necessary procedures and responsibilities. For me personally, it’s really not a bad job walking through the forest with a small group of dogs when you are grieving. It may help though if it can be a quieter week so if you are at home and can walk your dog do let me know.

Muttleys would like to take the opportunity to announce an exciting new service. I would like to start teaching doggy dance classes with a particular interest in modern ballet and folk dancing. Everyone knows how enjoyable it is to put some good music on and dance around the living room with your dog. I am super excited and can’t wait to get started…

I’d like to introduce you to the newest and youngest member of the Muttley Crew. My own little boy came out on his first group walk this morning to make some friends and explore. He was a little bit unsure at first but soon got into the swing and enjoyed himself. Thank you to Yappy Feet for some lovely pictures 😁

Yesterday we lost a very special girl, a very much loved member of the Muttley crew.
I started dog walking six years ago because Meeka needed a walker and I decided to give it a go at being a professional dog walker.
She was a lovely girl to walk and very popular with the other dogs. She loved to chase them around but also made sure they all behaved themselves. She didn’t put up with any unnecessary shenanigans, unless it looked like fun in which case she’d join in.
We’ll miss her very much. Thank you Meeka for everything and thank you Russ and Nicki for letting me be her walker and a part of her life.
