We are a volunteer/foster rescue group dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs. We focus mainly on bully breeds, but never turn another breed in need away. Muttley Crue Rescue CLE is a division of Tails from the City Cleveland, a non profit 501c3 rescue. We have a special place in our hearts for the bully breeds and LOVE pitbulls . The Adoption fees cover the pets vet bills and allow us to continue to

save others. We are an independent rescue, if you need help networking or need an animal posted on Petfinder or have any questions please contact us. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets please first fill out an application at www.muttleycruerescue.com/adopt.html . Once you fill out the application, you will be contacted if approved and scheduled for a meet and greet. We will do a home check and bring the dog into your home to meet your family and its potential human and fur brothers and sisters. If all goes well, the dog will be scheduled for a week trial to make sure that he/she will be a good fit for your family. At this point you will be able to fill out the adoption paperwork, pay the adoption fee and move forward with the adoption process. We feel that this process allows us to make sure we are placing the dog in the best possible home. Each and every family that owns a Pit Bull dog must be ambassadors for the breed. Please, do not make the decision to adopt a Pit Bull dog without first understanding the breed, understanding why you want a Pit Bull, and being aware of all of the laws that now burden the breed.

We are hosting an adoption event on January 25th from 11-3 for any interested person who is looking or contemplating adoption.

Come get some puppy love ❤️ and see if there’s a spark. You don’t have to be an approved adopter to attend, but filling out an application beforehand is highly recommended.

Feel free to bring a bag of food, treats, toys, or blankets as a donation if you wish!

How is this little snuggle bug 🐞 so cute?
Unfortunately, Eclipse didn’t get his Christmas 🎅🏼 wish of a forever home 🏠 but he still is holding out hope that someone will look into his adorable little face and say, “yeah you can crash here forever”
He’s a great guy with loads of love and energy. He has a whole community of support through behind him cheering him on.

🚨New Pup Alert 🚨

Meet Dolly a 2-month old Shepard mix baby doll

Dolly, the playful pup in training, loves to mimic her big sister Stevie while mastering the art of potty time! When playtime’s over, you can find me cuddled up on the couch, soaking up TV time with my foster mom. 🐾💕 I am a little shy at first, once I get into your arms I melt right in. I am learning to like my “room” crate, and have been doing great through the night.

She’s an absolute sweetheart and looking forward to finding her perfect forever home.

Speaking of Winter Berry Crue let us introduce you to the other cutie, Berry!

Berry is a playful 4 month old Chow mix. She is house trained and working on being comfortable in the crate. Berry is learning simple commands. She loves other dogs and is very friendly with children. She likes cats but can become a little too playful with them since she’s used to other dogs. She loves her toys and is not territorial with food.

Dandelion has blossomed into a dog she only dreamed she could become. She’s kind and gentle, laid back and open to new experiences. She’s learning new skills that are going to give her such incredible opportunities in life that maybe wouldn’t have been possible for her once upon a time. She’s a lady on a leash and loves her crate. She’s a comfort creature who enjoys a good couch cuddle once she deems your couch acceptable. She’s a natural at nail trims and truly didn’t really need restraint, but likes the moral support. What can we say she’s an all around winner in our books. She’s getting a slow introduction to other dogs, due to we think, not getting much socialization throughout her life. But at 3 years young we have no doubt her curiosity for her k9 companions will lead to many adventures to come. She’s already cool with the feline companions and has cohabitated well for a couple weeks with them so far. When we started on this journey with Dandelion a couple months ago, we had no idea how in love she would make us fall. Her openness to love and please shine through and she melts everyone’s heart who she comes in contact with. She will find her perfect owner one day, we know it. We are patient and waiting. And so is she, bettering herself everyday.

Haven’t you heard it’s National Black Dog Day? Have you seen Rodney, the 10 month old black pittie mix who is available for adoption, who has been patiently waiting for his furever home. He’s been working on his basic obedience and leash training through @the_handsome_hounds to become the best boy out there. He is crate and house trained, kid, cat and dog friendly. He loves going on adventures, playing with his foster siblings and getting snuggles from all. We are an independent rescue. If you need help networking or need an animal posted on Petfinder/ Adopt-a-Pet or have any questions, please contact us. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets please submit an adoption application at www.MuttleyCrueRescue.com/Adopt.html . Please allow 7 - 10 days for processing of your application, especially for puppies as we tend to receive quite a few applications for certain dogs. Once your application is approved, you will be scheduled for a meet and greet, where we will do a home check and bring the dog into your home to meet your family and its potential human and fur brothers and sisters. If all goes well the dog will be scheduled for a week trial to make sure that he/she will be a good fit for your family.
