Congratulations to Zavanah Cochrane and her Cera Cadett for their fantastic in the 2nd round of the Childrens Championship at the Australian Showjumping Championships in Boneo Park!

𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗖𝗢𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗔𝗡?
Queensland competitor Zavanah Cochran is the one to catch after the first two rounds of the Equestrian Life Australian Children’s Championship.

The very talented 14yo rider on her 15yo gelding ‘Cera Cadett’ absolutely blew the field away when fourth last out in a 19-combination jump-off from 43 terrific nominations in this class.
How good does the future look!

Needing to chase down the 40.97 sec time posted by Victorian rider Malena Tomsic on her gelding ‘Secret Crush’ five horses earlier, it was pedal to the metal the moment Zavanah and her impressive mount crossed the timers and with wonderful balance and fabulous lines they shaved an incredible 2.93 seconds off the leader’s score!!

The final two horses in the field knew what they had to but unfortunately both drew 4 faults to see the round win comfortably going to this rising star in the sport of Show Jumping.

The final of the Equestrian Life Children’s Championship will be held in the Pet Circle Arena 1 on Saturday at 7.30am.

It’s totally worth getting out of bed and down to the stunning Boneo Park Equestrian Centre for, these kids are incredible!

Gosh it makes my heart sing! I have had so many messages over the past few days from people who have done well with horses Ive bred (in several countries), had new foals from my mares, are eagerly awaiting foals that I bred last season, are excited about the young ones they’ve purchased from me, from clients Ive sourced horses for saying how happy they are and from clients grateful for my help with their breeding program! This is my world now, Im very grateful. Thank you!

How nice is this Cera Callebeau Z rising 2yo filly Colorado ECPH! Shes superbly bred being out of a Guidam (Quidam de Revel) mare whos dam is a sister to Mr. Blue himself! Such an exciting future ahead for this young lady! Congratulations to her breeder Nicki Hull at East Coast Performance Horses on breeding another super young horse!

Valenzia also produced Cera Charisma and some fillies who have bred some fantastic young stock including 3 now in America. Charisma himself is also proving to be an exceptional producer.

Unfortunately in Australia most people dont register their foals with a WBFSH association so we cannot track the results of Charismas progeny so easily however they have won Young Horse Championships, Futuritys, Young Event Horse Titles and eventing classes as well as dressage and hacking. 🏆

The best thing is the story of Valenzia and her incredible production has only just begun! ❤️ Im so excited for the future!

We closed out our whirlwind trip to Germany with a day visiting stallions. As we mostly use frozen semen from european stallions it was great to see and meet them. Character is such an important factor that we just cannot see in a video.

A massive thank you to my good friend Adriana for organising for us to see Cornet Obolensky and Comme il Faut! 😍 What a dream to get to see these Kings of our sport and breeding. Cornet is 24 and Comme 20! It was even more special as Monika and Bernie that showed us the stallions have known them since they were 3 and 2 respectively so there were many stories as well! ❤️ We also stopped in at PSI and saw their stallions, quite a few I have had several foals by. 🥰

It was wonderful to share the experience with friends and fellow breeders Julie & Emma Isbister and Kyley Lee-Madgwick who also came to Aachen with me. Aaron Hadlow joined us for a couple of days at Aachen. What a wonderful way to wind up an incredible week!!

⭐️ CHIO Aachen ⭐️
What an unbelievable 6 days Ive had at this show! Its been a dream of mine for 40 years… to go to Aachen. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere! Wow! Incredible sport and horsemanship! The showjumping was top!!

It was very nice to hear the Australian National Anthem 3 times in one day! Boyd Exell is a master horseman and a privilege to watch in action! He is truly in a class of his own. Thanks for the caps

Congrats to Boyd & Tor van den Berge for their historic Driving Nations Cup win!! 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 Wow, that was special to witness.
