Congratulations to Jess Kiernan and Cera Cassius (Casall x Clearway x Caletto I - Holsteiner Stamm 7126) for winning the Oaks Sport Horses 4/5 yo class at the Peachester Lodge Festival of Showjumping in Queensland yesterday! Jess and Cassius won the style prize from a 26 strong field. Jess has done a great job with Cassius and we are excited to follow them in the future. On a side note I got to have a cuddle with the big smooch on Saturday! 🥰

🦄🦄 Fabulous 5 yo mare in foal available 🦄🦄

Breeding is about thinking in generations. The black filly foal born this season gave me dejavu! She is so much like her mother as a new foal who was born on Christmas Day 2017 (photos). Its very cool years on seeing their own foals. 🦄

The grey mares brother was crowned Champion stallion at the Holstein licensing, her oldest siblings are successful at 1.60m level and she is mother to a licensed stallion in europe who was awarded a perfect 10 for his free jumping!

Her mother is a full sister to Hirtin who competed at 1.60m and is the mother of Levisto Z. Grandmother Waage produced no less than 7 international show jumpers with 5 of them being highly successful at 1.60m level as well as 2 licensed stallions.

Shes already produced NZ National 5 year old champion. We have bred some very nice prospects from this gorgeous black mare, Cera Quintera and are very excited for her Ermitage Kalone foal due this coming season! 🧡

Im looking forward to following all the outstanding broodmares and their fantastic kids that Ive bred over the years, many which are now in wonderful new homes, including this one.

There are an incredible 70 international showjumpers in 4 generations of breeding in this remarkable showjumping family. Yes every generation has multiple 1.60m horses!! From the direct damline of Diarado with the dam of this foals grandmother and Diarados mother being 3/4 sisters!

Sire of the foal due Uriko has already produced top 1.60-1.65m competitors including Paris Olympian Uricas Van De Kattevennen who has won well over 1 million euro in prizemoney to date!

Dam sire Diamant de Semilly has been oneof the world top ranked jumping sires for quite some time and has sired over 300 showjumpers jumping 1.55m or higher! Diamant was a champion competitor himself and is sire of countless top horses which cemented his place on top of the rankings for 11 years in a row! He is currently ranked a close 3rd in the WBFSH sire rankings.

Grand dam sire Quidam de Revel is another legend of showjumping. He is an Olympic medallist, won the Rome & New York Grand Prix’s, as well as being a strong member of Nations Cups teams. In breeding he has established himself as one of the top jumping sires of all time with more than 165 descendants competing at 1.60m or higher!

Further back we see the legendary Corrado I. Great grandmother and great great grandmother produced together 8 international showjumpers and have over 37 descendants competing at 1.50m or higher! The dams mothers eldest sisters alreadysuccessful at 1.60m level in Europe with many more fancy young ones coming through. The dam of this foal has siblings jumping grand prix in two countries. Suit top showjumping rider wanting to invest in their future.

This is Valenzia this morning. 😍😍😍

She clearly didnt get the memo that she turned 20 last month. Valenzia is of course mother of Cera Charisma and LB Crumble and mother, grandmother and great grandmother to some other incredible kids that you will all see in the coming years!
She doesn’t look too bad for a 20yo broodmare that has carried 9 foals! You can see why she was such an impressive jumper!

Super cute mare by Catoki! Catoki is of course sire of jumping sensation Ermitage Kalone! This mare has an incredible brain, she is great to ride and is currently in foal to the Paul Schockemohle star stallion Diablue PS! Endless possibilities! 🤔

This is so true. Intelligence, attitude and work ethic combined with the right jumping genetics gives you such a good foundation to put 4-5 years of time, money and energy in to producing your Grand Prix horse. All the ability in the world will get you no-where without the horse being trainable and wanting to do its job. You should never choose a horse off its looks or its passport. You need to meet it and work with it. For those wondering, yes we can tell this from their very early days as foals. They dont develop these traits, they are born with them. They inherit them off their very special mothers!

We prioritised the intelligence, brain and work ethic many years ago and combined with our proven high level performance dam lines (for many generations) it has resulted in our very high strike rate of breeding good jumping horses from only a small handful of foals born each year.

This also plays a huge role in our stallion choices and is why we dont always use the most commercial “in” stallion and rather choose a stallion with a sound intelligent mind, which is a proven producer and which is the right fit for the mare. 👌

Congratulations to Susie Verco and her Ultimate Cera Z on taking out the 4 year old showjumping contest this morning at the PSI Dressage & Jumping with the PSI Dressage & Jumping with the Stars this morning! Well done Susie, youve done a super job producing this young star. Excited for what is to come!

We jumped into competition here at PSI DJWTS 2025 with our Southern Cross Event Hire 4-year-old Jumping Horse Round One.

In the golden morning light, seventeen entries took to the arena before our expert panel of judges Chris Chugg, Chris Burton and international guest Julia Hargreaves.

Susanna Verco from South Australia piloted the spectacular grey gelding Ultimate Cera Z to victory. Bred by Kerri Parker at Cera Performance Horses, Zangersheide studbook registered Ultimate Cera Z is by Untouchable 27. Untouchable 27 had a sensational competition career paired with some of the best riders in the world including Daniel Deusser who rode Untouchable 27 in numerous five star Grand Prixs to great success. Beyond his sporting career, Untouchable 27 is a prolific producer of exceptional sport horses. Ultimate Cera Z’s dam Zamira IX sired by Quidam de Revel carries some of the best bloodlines in modern sport horse breeding.

Our judges awarded Susanna Verco and Ultimate Cera Z first place, remarking on Ultimate Cera Z’s bright future in the sport and the fantastic job Susanna has done in producing him to date.

Second place went to Bonnie Valley JenJan Diva and local rider Tori Glass. Bred by JenJan Performance Stud, Bonnie Valley JenJan Diva is by JenJan Daiquiri our of JenJan Quick Stix who is sired by Quintender. “You should have a smile on your face every time you jump this one! She has a great technique and a great mind”, Chris shared.

Rounding out our top three was Mt Robinsons Qognito and junior rider Tanner Robinson. Mt Robinsons Qognito is by Yalambis Incognito out of imported mare Mt Robinsons Qitana Z who Tanner’s mother Airlie jumped to great success. A lovely homebred gelding with a great jump and rideability.

Huge congratulations to Makenzie Causer on Aspen Park Cera Casallo (Casall x Askari) on being crowned the New Zealand National 5 year old Champion today! So excited for their future together! 😍

Leah and Makenzie purchased Casallo as a new foal from us and Makenzie started Casallo herself and has done a wonderful job producing him.

It is so special the connection and trust built slowly over time with a grand prix showjumper.

There is no quick way to get to this point. In fact it takes alot of time, money, hard work, blood, sweat and tears and a wonderful support team to get there. As well as a capable horse of course.

I love these two photos of Cera Caruso with Katie Laurie and Cera Cassina with Kimberley Bird. They really show what our incredible horses do for their humans. AMAZING!
"Yes Ive got this mum!" ... as they approach jumps just as big as themselves. They love their job too.
