Our Story
I love pets, all pets. My own are dear to my heart and at times get more attention from me then I give my own husband. I feel as if I have a special connection with my pets, don’t we all. Whether you have cats, dogs, horses, fish, rabbits or any kind of pet there is a special relationship you have with them.
I own cats, 2 of them at this time. I recently lost two other cats, just within a year of each other. I replaced them with 2 more. My cats are more like my children that I now take care of like I did my own kids. Play fetch with my one cat that just turned a year old in 2015. Wake up to them licking me in the morning for food or biting my arm to wake me up also. My one year old actually will talk to me when she wants something or knows I am going to leave. We keep the TV on and water on the table for them to drink when we leave the house.
It was when my last pet passed away that inspired me to design a special pendant that represented how close to me my connection was with them. I want my Heart Crossing pendant to be a lifelong remembrance of the best friends we lose when our pets pass away.
The poem Rainbow Bridge was given to me this last time when my pet passed away along with her paw print and a lock of her fur. That sits in a room in my home on the shelf in my closet. My Heart Crossing pendant is designed to wear around my neck, every day, to remember my loving pets. It reminds me they are together and have crossed the rainbow bridge where they play with other pets, waiting to reunite with their owners.
Sometimes when I think of them I start to cry, I hold my pendant in my hand to remember how much I loved them. I rejoice knowing they have crossed over this very special bridge.
I hope you love and wear this very special pendant I have designed as I know it will help you remember your loving pets that have crossed over. In special memory of your best friend, may you never forget the love they brought to your heart.
