I have to send out a super huge shout out to the best farrier ever! I had one of my homeschool classes come out during our appointment so they could see what a farrier does. Emily took it all in stride, answered all their many questions and at the end cleaned up some horse shoes for the girls to take home! I couldn't ask for a better farrier and friend!!
She also got really excited when she found out I have a snake, so I brought her to the appointment as well 😆

Joe the Quarter Horse was transformed into Seabiscuit the Thoroughbred today to be used for Reni's speech that she gave at school today. They make quite the Race Horse / Jockey pair!

The ponies were feeling good after their trims. Storm had to make sure his shoes were on nice and tight👌🏼

Super proud of these girls!! Yesterday was a day of great accomplishments.
Our first classes of the day were In-Hand Trail. Reni didn't place, but got an A ribbon and had a Great pattern! Isabelle and Anabel were in the senior ring and had 37 kids in their class. Isabelle placed 3rd with Poser and Anabel placed 1st with Bluey!!! Jessica placed 1st in her division!!! They went on to the championship class and placed 4th (Anabel), 5th (Isabelle) and 6th (Jessica)!

Second class of the day was Western Dressage - Intro. Anabel placed 1st and Bluey placed 2nd on the 1st test out of 7. Reni didnt do the first test. Then Anabel placed 2nd, Reni placed 3rd with Sharga, and Isabelle placed 4th out of 7! Reni didn't place with Rumchata.
Anabel and Isabelle qualified for Overall Champion and placed 1st (Anabel) and 3rd (Isabelle)!!!!
It was a great day♡

I'm thinking about hosting an Obstacle Play Day or two this summer. Would anyone be interested in coming out and making use of the obstacles that we have made? There would be obstacles in the indoor and outdoor arenas and also through the trails. Let me know what you think!
Also please add in if a weekend or a week day would be better for you!
