Guess what, guess what, guess what….. ex-uni brat and the mad scientist came all the way from Australia just to see me!!! Well, they are seeing lots of other people too, but it was mainly to see me! What other reason could there be???

It’s been a “ruff” few weeks in the Fox house!
1st The husband came down with Covid….
2nd Walker woman succumbs to yet another infection and gets some really big pills to take….
3rd (and hopefully finally) Today my a**l gland ruptured… So a little trip to the vet for a clean up and antibiotics has been undertaken and I am now snoozing for England!
This should earn me extra treats for weeks!!!

Do you see what’s missing from these pictures? Yep, you guessed it… me! Because I am a guilty beagle who is just going to hide for a while!
Ww and the husband took the oldest son out for a birthday dinner… they didn’t take us…
What were we supposed to do??? We fancied a game of uno!

It’s the husbands birthday today! At least they came home from celebrating walker woman’s birthday abroad to celebrate his birthday correctly…. Birthdays should be spent cuddled with the beagle and non beagle, accidentally feeding us cake!

Something is off in this house… (no it’s not walker woman, she knows how to shower!)
I get the distinct impression we are about to be abandoned…. I am sure I heard the husband go into the loft last week…. That’s where they keep the suitcases…
Walker woman has been rustling about upstairs… a sure sign she is up to something….
I am going to lie here looking pathetic… surely they wouldn’t leave us if I look so sad. ?? Would they??

Why am I lay here looking all forlorn??? Well let me tell you!
Walker woman is “supposed” to be trying to lose some weight for her holiday….. And I am trying very hard to help her do this…. I have been making her run after me to take things out of my mouth, so we don’t have, in her own words, yet another f’ing vet bill to pay…. I have also been trying to get her to reduce her food intake. This lunchtime she broke all the rules and had cheese on toast. Now she knows she shouldn’t be eating either of them but thought “why not I deserve a treat” (She has a beagle after all!) so she made 2 whole slices of cheese on toast and sat herself down to eat them…. Well, me being me thought I should try and help her eat less…. My nose got soooooo close before she caught me. I have been sent to my bed to think about what I did!!! Good luck getting into a swimsuit walker woman!!!!

Well my beagle teefs got the staples out!
I had been nibbling through my pink coat and had made the scar bleed a little… so walker woman decided to wash the pink coat as it was ‘stinky’ (her words!)
In the split second it took to put the pink coat in the wash I whipped those staples out!
Walker woman has fashioned a DIY cover using masking tape! Masking tape! What was she thinking! I am not impressed in the slightest….

You will be pleased to hear that the vet has finally found out I am a superstar!
She said I am healing super fast and she is pleased to see me back at my beagley best!
Walker woman has been hovering round me for days now, and I am milking this injury for treats and extra snacks!
One more week until the staples come out… And I am supposed to keep wearing this coat to protect the injury from beagle teefs! Don’t think this will last much longer!

So today was a bad walk day!
The husband took us out nice and early, as always, and we ran into a bulldog coming the other way. All of us on leads… while the husband was busy keeping Lyra away, I got a bit too close and got bitten…. I am a lucky beagle, as it’s mainly superficial and I am on some great painkillers! I am going to be very bruised and very sore for a few days and I have to wear this suit until the staples can come out on Saturday. (But don’t I look cute!)
Walker woman and the husband are just relieved I am ok and will be fine.

Today I have excelled myself!
A little bit of fence nibbling while walker woman was working upstairs, led to an emergency vet trip due to a bit of the fence getting stuck in my throat
To be honest the vet ladies were amazing and gave me THE best drugs…. Walker woman not impressed as my afternoon of being very stoned cost her £250!
We all know I’m worth it!

In my defence, walker woman and the husband went out and left us twice today…. Well I just cannot let them think that sort of behaviour is acceptable now can I?

The flipping nerve of the walker woman! We had a lovely early morning walk, where I found the stinkiest pile of 🦊 💩…. I had the bestest role in it and managed to get myself properly covered… I was a very happy beagle… That was the fun part… now the story takes a dark turn….
When we got home, guess what she did? Go on guess? She only went and showered it ALL OFF! And she did it out the front of the house, where everyone could see my shame!
The nerve of that woman, who does she think she is? I don’t care that the house would have smelt like fox p**p for months…. It was MY stink!
Revenge will be mine… I have heard rumours that they are off out tonight….I wonder what my revenge will be? Be scared walker woman, be very scared!

I am traumatised! Yesterday walker woman and the husband took us out in the car nice and early. At this stage we thought we were going for a nice long walk…. We were wrong! We ended up at the vets! Yes you heard that right, the VETS!
Now the vet lady was lovely, or so I thought, she gave me liver pate and gave me lovely fusses… all was going great until she stuck a HUGE needle in my bum! And then, if that wasn’t bad enough, she stuck some liquid up my perfect little nose!
Ww and the husband brought us home, and they did bring the grandbrats over to see us, but I cannot let this go unpunished….. I am now being a diva, flopping down dramatically and demanding tummy rubs every 2 minutes…. I think I may be able to “milk” this for a good few days!

Hmmmm…. I’ve been quiet for a while as I had, in walker woman’s words, finally grown up!
How dare she tell me that I can behave!
Well, ww and the husband took themselves off for a curry and a drink and decided that they required a cocktail or two before heading home….
Well in my disgust at being left home alone, I decided to eat one of her new pots and dig my way to Australia from under the shed….
Ww didn’t see this when they got home last night…(not surprising, as I don’t think she could see much at all to be honest), but she found my “art” this morning!
I don’t think she is very happy about it!

So we have been abandoned yet again! Walker woman and the husband have buggered off to Arizona for a week and dropped us off for a ‘spa break’….
As you can see, we are not having ANY fun at all, never getting walked or fed and generally feeling very sorry for ourselves…. (Well that’s what we will be telling them on their return!!!)
Got to go, walkies and playing to be done!

Sunday morning playtime.... Trying to get some extra treats from the husband on his birthday, the ex uni brat , walker woman and the husbands visiting grown up son...... Not sure it’s working!
