Okay, confession time… I might have accidentally been keeping a little secret from you. Totally unintentional, but here we are 😅

About a month ago, we tried to restock our Sunshine Summer Scarves—only to realize we ordered the wrong yellow. Oops.

So while Sunshine won’t be making a comeback, something even bolder is taking its place: meet Lemon 🍋 A vibrant neon yellow that you’ll be able to spot a mile away!

Lemon drops this Friday in limited quantities, and it marks the final Summer Scarf restock of the season. Fall scarves roll in next month 😎

If there’s one thing we’ve learned on the trail, it’s that the gear you bring matters—and that includes what your dog wears. 🏔️

Our Summit Collars have been with us through muddy switchbacks, foggy ridge lines, and rivers that maybe weren’t meant to be crossed. They’ve handled it all—without holding onto the stink or fraying at the first sign of fun.

Next week, we’re taking them camping (finally!) and I already know they’ll be the MVPs again. Lightweight, quick-drying, and tough as nails—basically built for pups who don’t believe in “staying on the trail.” …and if you’ve hung out with Emma, you know staying on the trail is not exactly her strong suit. 😅

If your adventures look anything like ours, you’ll want one in your pack. Or… on your pup. 💪🐾

For over ten years, Pacific Hound lived in my house.

At first, it was perfect. Orders were small, kids weren’t in the picture yet, and the dogs loved having me close. But over time, things grew—inventory, demand, responsibilities… life.

This spring, it became clear: we had outgrown the space. Every room felt like it belonged to the business—boxes in the kitchen, scarves in the playroom, printers where toys should be. My three kids deserve to have their home back. Their playroom, their space to just be kids. And honestly? I needed that space too.

As a mom of three and the sole operator of Pacific Hound, trying to raise kids, love on my dogs, and run a growing business under one roof was… impossible. So we made the leap. We moved out of the house and into a dedicated space that allows for better organization, better shipping, and—most importantly—a little breathing room for all of us.

This move has brought its own set of challenges, but it was long overdue. And while I’m still figuring it all out, one thing is for sure: this shift wasn’t just about the business. It was about building a life that allows me to breathe again too.

May felt like a chapter closing and a new one just beginning. 💛

We shipped out the last of our pre-orders—each one a little thank you for believing in us.

Spot, the reason Pacific Hound even exists, turned 12. Twelve.

We packed up the business and moved it out of my house for the first time in 10 years.

And somehow, in the middle of it all, my twins turned four.

It’s been chaotic and emotional and beautiful in all the ways that matter.

A month of growth, gratitude, and letting go—personally and professionally.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Onward. 🐾

Happy Mother’s Day whether you’re a mom to little people or four-legged babies - today is a day to celebrate how far you have come and the sacrifice you make every single day ❤️

Each day the bond between our dogs and children grow and it’s a little bitter sweet. Having older, incredibly patient dogs with littles has been such a blessing but we know this chapter will eventually end too.

But for now, we celebrate the chapter we are in and we hope you are able to do the same.
